Cognitive Ability Emotional Ability Team Characteristics11 Leadership: Power & Influence13 Organizational Structure15 Organizational Culture16 As those of you who have taught MGS 3400 before know, it is virtually impossible to help a class review for a departmental final. If your students are worried about what to study, they must study the book. Limiting the number of chapters they have to study should help relieve some of their apprehension.
This examination is a requirement as part of our AACSB accreditation, as are the departmental exams in marketing, finance, and accounting. Our exams are certainly no more rigorous than any of those. Tips for studying would include: There are 100 multiple-choice questions on the exam. Pay special attention to definitions in the book, as well as the review sections of each chapter. 10-12 questions have been selected from each chapter, so the topics are evenly spread throughout the chapters listed. Questions will include both definitions and application of concepts.
The Dissertation on Exam 1 Study Guide
Exam I Study Guide Chapter 1: 1. What does the study of biology refer to? 2. What are the seven properties that we associate with life? Understand what each of them mean and be able to recognize examples. 3. What is life’s hierarchy of organization? Know the levels, know the levels in order, and know what each level includes or does not include (this is a big one). 4. What is a cell? a. How do ...
The questions are not randomly selected. The questions consist of concepts that are important for students to know having completed an Organizational Behavior course. Remember, the questions count 1 point each, so students would have to miss a large number of questions to do poorly on the exam. These ideas may, (or may not), help your students reduce their anxiety about the exam. Security of the Exam Danielle Teaque will be handling the preparation and distribution of the Final Exam for MGS 3400 for the summer semester.
As I mentioned in an earlier memo to you, security for this exam is of utmost importance and must be maintained by everyone who is involved with preparing, distributing, or administering the exam. There is a new exam administered each semester, so I asked Danielle to include a space for the student’s name on the top of each exam. 1. Please take care in distributing your exams to students in terms of counts and when they turn in their final, please see that they are turning in a scantron and their original test form.
2. I have asked Danielle to hold the exams for each instructor until the day of your scheduled final exam. In other words, there will be no advance copies of the exam distributed to instructors. 3. Once the exams are finished, the instructor should return the exams to Danielle, as we have always done, who will dispose of them. Thank you for your help in keeping our departmental final exam as secure as possible! Please let me know if you have questions or concerns regarding the final exam.
