1 – Produce the relevant descriptive graph and table to summarise the MODE variable (labelled Control: Completes by phone/mail/web).
The MODE variable summarises the different ways that each institution completed the survey. Write a paragraph explaining the key features of the data observed through the output.
The distribution of the surveyance mode which was conducted for a sample of 2000. The mode is displayed in the above chart. The most common primary mode was the web (53.9%) it was above the average. The second and third in common was the Mail and the Phone – Full mode at 24% and 16.3% respectively, very few people uses the Phone – Short method (5.9%)
2 – Produce the relevant descriptive graph and table to summarise the OPSEXTOTM variable (labelled QB5b_num_mal. Male outpatients – Total).
This variable measures the total number of male outpatients at each institution. Write a paragraph explaining the key features of the data observed through the output
The distribution of male outpatients at each institution in a sample of 2000 is displayed in the above histogram. The distribution is positively skewed with 50% below 96 cases or less. Typically male outpatient cases were between 30 and 223 with mean at 191.62 and standard deviation of 349.62. However there were quite a number of outliers with 3 significant outliers above 4000 cases in ID 2926, 7251 and 6751 and there were a number of institutions with 0 cases as well.
The Research paper on Case Study Do It Their Way
Case Study : Do it Their Way (1) It appears that outlining the behavioral characteristics of an entire generation is absolutely legitimate practice, because it comes as a result of long-term observation of behavioral pattern, associated with a large group of people, over the period of time. Even though that the hawks of political-correctness refer to this process as stereotyping, while describing ...
3 – Previous research has suggested that more than 5% of all institutions are affiliated to a religious organisation. Conduct a binomial tests using the RELIGIOUS variable (labelled QA8 Facility is affiliated with a religious organization) to test this claim. Provide the relevant output and write the report for your test in the style presented in the course materials.
Previous research has suggested that more than 5% of institutions are affiliated to a religious organisation. In a sample of 2000 institutions, 7.3% were affiliated with a religious organisation. This sample proportion is more than the test proportion of 5% which is consistent with our hypothesis that more than 5% of institution are affiliated to a religious organisation. A Binominal test shows that the difference is significant, n = 2000, p < 0.001. The 95% confidence interval indicates that between 6% and 8% of all institutions are affiliated to a religious organisation. There is sufficient evidence to conclude that more than 5% of all institutions are affiliated to a religious organisation
4 – Previous research has suggested that the average number of female outpatients in these institutions is about 200. Use a one-sample t-test on the OPSEXTOTF variable (labelled QB5b_num_fem. Female outpatients – Total) to test whether the average number of female outpatients is different from 200. Provide the relevant output and write the report for your test in the style presented in the course materials.
Previous research has suggested that the average number of female outpatients in these institution is about 200 In a sample of 2000 institutions, the average number of female outpatients was 200.39. (s = 304.59).
This is almost the same as the mean. A one sample t-test shows that this difference in mean is not significant, t(1999) = 0.057, p = 0.955. The 95% confidence interval indicates that the average female outpatients different from 200 is between 13.74 and 12.97 lesser. There is insufficient evidence to conclude that the average number of outpatient is different.

5 – The researchers want to test if there is a difference between the average number of male outpatients (the OPSEXTOTM variable labelled QB5b_num_mal. Male outpatients – Total) in religious affiliated organisations compared to non-religious affiliated organisations. The RELIGIOUS variable (labelled QA8 Facility is affiliated with a religious organization) identifies if an organisation is religiously affiliated or not. Use the independent samples t-test to test this claim. Provide the relevant output and write the report for your test in the style presented in the course materials.
The researchers hypothesized that if there is a difference between the average numbers of male outpatients in religious affiliated organisations and non-religious affiliated organisations. In a random sample of 2000 institutions, the average number of male outpatients in non-religious affiliated organisations (x = 197.55, s = 359.206, n = 1854) was higher than the average numbers of male outpatients in religious affiliated organisations (x = 116.33, s = 173.433, n = 146).
An independent samples t-test shows that this difference in the male outpatients is significant, (t (257.213) = 4.892, p < 0.001. The 95% confidence interval indicates that the mean difference of male outpatients in non-religious affiliated organisations is higher by 48.531 and 113.916 As expected, there is a difference between the average number of male outpatients in religious affiliated organisations and non-religious affiliated organisations,
