General Patton shows the falling action in the fifth part of the movie. He apologizes to many people. He speaks to different clubs and places. The twist is that no matter what he says, there is always something negative to it. He can never win. The reporters always have some way to twist what he says and make it seem negative. He finally gets to command an army again. His passion and his love is to be fighting.
He led his army across the lands to take over different places. He wanted to go take them at the end. His love for fighting accompanied him the whole way. When the generals came together to talk about a mission, they said it would be impossible to take over a certain city. General Patton said his soldiers would be able to take it over since they are trained for the job. Even though his soldiers might not like him, they listen to him and follow him to glory and victory.
His persuasive speeches and tactics make him a mean fighting machine. He wanted to prove himself to the United States and I think he succeeded. He won many more victories but was later downplayed by the reporters again. This made everyone hate him again and relieve him from duty. He led the third army to many victories. He might have strict guidelines and tactics but they’re called for when you seem him in battle. It must be his tactics that make him such a good commander and his passion for fighting..
