I, Bic de Velocity at age 26 will be making the most important missions of my life. I will have my crew along side to help me battle the things that come in my way. We will be traveling this journey because we ” re out to prove the world is round, and whatever else we find. The things we find are soon to come and beware they are scarce and intriguing. Before I went on my journey to prove that the world is infact round I had picked out my crew.
I knew I had to get a strong, courageous, and brave crew if I wanted to accomplish anything on this here journey. I got the best of the best, who were even better than the very best. My crew chef is who just happens to be my bestest friend is La Stephanie (a. k.
a. Blossom. ) Blossom is in charge of getting all the food and supplies together, and of course preparing the food. My pets are a poodle, a parrot who is my little shoulder buddy, and my faithful piggy. My faithful clean-up crew is E.
A. W. and D. P.
N. S. , they requested their real names not be revealed, I believe it’s because of their stature, I mean the clean up crew I wouldn’t want my name to be revealed e thier. The entertainment crew are Alice and Mrs. Library Teacher, those two truly are real clowns. The rest of the crew is the chefs assistants, the fighting solider guys, and people just along for the ride.
The Captain of course is me, Bic de Velocity, and I get to order everyone around, drive the boat, and be praised for what I do, what a life… My crew and I are going to explore what all is out there in the world, and to prove that the world is in fact round. Me like many of the other intelligent people in the world believe the world is round, and I will prove that it is too. My crew and I will be sailing from Spain in 1492. I was sure that from Portugal to Japan was less than three thousand miles, and that there would be no land mass blocking my way. October 12, 1492 we landed on a Caribbean island, and I named it San Salvador.
The Essay on Journey 3
Journeys are often undertaken by the need to escape the tensions of our realities. Either the physical or metaphysical challenges one experiences on a journey evoke self-reflection and internal realisation, assisting the individual to resolve previous tensions and gather new outlook on life. This is evident in Tim Winton’s novel “A Big World,” Phillip Hodgin’s poem “Dirt Roads” and the film “Into ...
I was sure that the islands that I found lay just off the coast of India. I called the people aliens at first, then I was like India (Indians) of course. I thought that I could quickly convert them to Christianity, and successfully I did. Well I made three other journeys to the western hemisphere. In 1493 through 1502 I explored along the coasts of Central and South America, and I was the first European to visit Puerto Rico, Jamaica, and the Virgin Islands. We are at now at one of the Caribbean islands and all of a sudden the ground starts to shake.
A herd of elephants are trampling everything and are headed straight for the ocean. They just disappeared, my crew and I are speechless we didn’t know what to do or say. Well we just had to investigate. So we followed the foot prints from the ocean to the middle of the island. Blossom fainted, we had found a giant cow! The giant cow was eating an elephant. Luckily the cow did not see us, we almost did what the elephants did, but we thought that by boat would be a lot s mater and safer.
We were afraid to go to the next island, afraid of what might be watching are very movements, afraid of what might be waiting for us, or what might lurking around every corner. Just to be safe we watched the island day and night making sure nothing unusual or strange happened. You know what? That island was filled with fruit and plants like you never could of imagined. We could eat almost everything that we saw, which was a lot.
Blossom was overwhelmed of all the stuff she could eat and prepare. When we had gathered all that we needed we packed up and left. Throughout the other new lands that we had found most had the same story, except that there weren’t giant cows, just other giant things like giant piggy’s, ducks, rabbits, mouses, fleas, you get the picture, and sometime or another we would find a little island with all the food and plants that we needed. When were in the process of going home out of no where we are gobbled up by a giant goldfish. The only one left to tell the tale was Mrs. Library Teacher.

She somehow escaped the tragedy. She then went back to Spain spreading the word of us, the things we had seen, what we went through and how we managed to get through it, she told them of the Indians we converted, and how we are no longer with the world. You now know the neat and weird things that my crew and I have seen and accomplished. Although everyone but Mrs.
Library Teacher was gobbled up including myself towards the end of the journey, but that’s okay. We saw a lot that we have never seen before and if anything I’m glad that I was gobbled up seeing the things I saw and knowing that I did something great for history.
