Globalisation is the process of international integration based on interchange of world views, products, ideas and cultures. A major advantages of globalization is a social and economic progress for developing countries. We can have availability of global brands and products. Because of globalization we can notice progress in technology and communication advances. What is more, globalization give us opportunities to work or study abroad, which are a big chance for young people to meet new friends and get new experiences. It is also a chance for poorer countries to benefit from investment as a result of globalization.
On the other hand, globalization has some disadvantages. It exposes the gap between rich and poor – rich countries can have theirs cheap goods from poorer countries. They exploit workers. Also, we can see that globalization destroys local cultures and traditions. People don’t feel their membership to countries where they were born and grew up.
