Going out west last summer was one of the most exciting and interesting things I have ever done in my life. When my mom first told me about the trip I was only really excited about going on the airplane. But when we got there, I was in for a big surprise. One of the worst parts of the trip was that my family and I had to wake up at 3: 00 AM to catch the plane in Manchester. We flew from Manchester to Cleveland Ohio, and then from Cleveland to Salt Lake City, Utah.
I had a lot of fun on the plane. They served me a lot of drinks and food because I was hungry. I couldn’t wait to get to the airport because airports are fun. When we arrived in Cleveland I went to some stores and got more to eat.
Then we got on the airplane again and started heading out west. When we finally got to our final destination, we picked up our bags and then went to the car rental place where we rented a van. We then drove north to some place in Utah with a big lake near it called ‘Bear Lake’. We stayed there for 1 night. While we were there we went to the lake and rented jet skis.
It was a lot of fun. The next day we packed our bags and drove to the famous, Jackson Hole, Wyoming. It is the coolest town I have ever been to in my life. The stores there were incredible and so were the restaurants.
They even had a ‘Ripley’s Believe It or Not’ museum. They also had a very nice ski area. We even went to a rodeo. They had barrel racing, bull riding, and calf roping. We stayed there for 3-4 days and it was awesome. While there my mom, my dad, my sister, and I all went white water rafting.
The Essay on Biology Global Warming Great Lake
GLOBAL WARMING AND THE GREAT LAKES Something that I am concerned about, with regard to the future existence of the world, is global warming. How will this phenomenon affect our future? An article I found on the "Science Daily" website [May 11, 2003] intrigued me. The Great Lakes exert a significant influence on passing cyclones, causing storms to speed up and grow in strength, say researchers at ...
It was one of the most exciting things I have ever done. I got so wet and the waves and rapids were gigantic! ! ! We all had a great time. After all of the excitement in Jackson Hole we traveled to Yellowstone National Park. We drove up the western side of the park towards Montana. While we were there we visited Old Faithful, Yellowstone Lake, Mammoth Springs, and then on to Gardiner, Montana where my sisters roommate from school lives. We had a great time while we were there.
We rode horses up in the mountains and it was amazing. It was a great experience. We also went down into the town where we went shopping. One day we went to a place called Chico Hot Springs, which was a resort spa. From Gardiner we started heading southwest to Idaho Falls, Idaho where we stayed for one night. Then we woke up early the next morning and drove back to Salt Lake City.
As we drove back to the Salt Lake City Airport in Utah, I was sad because I didn’t want to leave. But going out west was important to me because I now knew what the west was like. So, when I go back I will now where to go, what to see, and what to do. Going out west was one of the best experiences of my life and I can’t wait to do it again..
