“Woos h”! The Grandmothers are flying off at each other. Grandma Dowdel from A Long Way from Chicago and my grandma are similar and different in so many ways by how they act what they say and look like. Grandma Dowdel acts very nasty and rude sometimes, but other times she can act very nice. Like when she got back Effie Wilcox’s house back. She also is very independent. Grandma Dowdel is a hypocrite she will tell Joey to go look up in the attic and shell just sit around.
She’s no super model her self. She wears all these torn up clothes and gumboots. Also she has a very ruffled face. On the other hand its not like the had any nice clothes back then.
Other wise if they did have nice clothes back then she still wouldn’t were them. Grandma Dowdel can say very mean things some times. She can say nice things. She says a lot of funny things. Commanding things, but what I think she says the most is very bossy things. Grandma Dowdel and my grandma are very alike and different.
They both are pretty big. Also they like to do every thing on their own. Like cook, make and fix things. I guess you could say they are independent. Some times they both love their grand kids. They are different because only Grandma Dowdel is a widow.
She also wears glasses were my grandma doesn’t. My grandma is very frugal about food were Grandma Dowdel just gives it away. Grandma hates the radio when my grandma listens to it every time I’m there. My grandma loves car rides when Grandma Dowdel won’t get in one. That’s how my grandma and Grandma Dowdel are alike and different. Grandma Dowdel from Along Way From Chicago and my grandma are equal and unequal in the way they look, what they say and what they see.
