I think 4th and 5th graders would be interested in the Harry Potter series because, although it has violence in it I think that age level should be able to handle it. If any kids younger than that have read it or want to read it, I would not recommended it because they just might think that the violence is real and that the wizardry is real. Although I dont think it is a good book for younger children, I think that the media and newspaper writers are going just a little to far. I dont think its really bad as they make it out to be. The writers and media make even older kids parents think twice about buying the book so there kid can read it. I think that the banning from school and other places is also stupid, because if a person was to read it, they would usually know that most of the stuff in the books can not happen and if they dont they are probably to young to understand what the book is saying anyway. J.K. Rowling (Joanne Kathleen) grew up in Chepstow, Gwent.
She wrote her first book when she was six years old; it was a story about a rabbit called Rabbit. When she left chepstow for college she went to Exeter University and had one full year course in Paris. After she graduated she eventually moved to London working at Amnesty International doing research on human rights abuses in Francophone Africa. She originally thought of Harry Potter and started writing about him when she was on a train in London. Every chance she got from then on she would go to the caf and write a little bit more about Harry Potter. Joanne moved to Portugal to teach English. Not to long after, she got married, became pregnant, but she still continued to write in the cafes .

Harry Potter: Political and Psychological Aspects (1) The phenomenon of Harry Potters popularity has been discussed in literary circles for a decade now, without majority of critics being able to define the very essence of such popularity. This is because, up until the time when Joanne Rowling made a fortune with the help of her literary character, only very few people considered childrens ...
When her baby was born her book was finished. Now Joanne still writes in cafes and lives in Edinburgh. I didnt really like liked Harry Potter because although it did keep my attention, I just think that the reading level was too young for my age. I like to read more non-fiction, action, and horror. I think the book is good for children at the age of nine or ten but not for teenagers, because I dont think it really appeals to them as much as it appeals to a younger kid. Harry Potter spent the first ten years of his life with a family that basically hates him, he has lived with his Aunt and Uncle because his parents were killed by Voldemont Then one day he found himself in a magical world with wizards and sorcerers only that he could see in his dreams. During that period of time he found out that he was also a wizard.
The one thing that Harry had to remember was a lighting bolt scar on his forehead,
