The Review on Harry Potter Stone Voldemort Wizard
Book report Harry Potter In this book report I will talk about a book that is very popular: Harry Potter. There are four books, the author is supposed to write two more books. Today, I will talk about the first book: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's stone. Harry Potter is a boy of 11 years old. His parents were killed when he was a baby and he was confided to his uncle and is family: The Dursley. ...
They found seven different shaped bottles and a riddle on a table. They had to find the bottle and drink the potion that would let them through the last door. Hermione helped solve the riddle, Harry drank the potion and went through the door. Harry discovers that it was Professor Quirrell the whole time and that Lord Voldemort had been on the back of Quirrells head acting as a parasite, trying to keep alive. They get into a large fight, and Harry ends up touching the professor, he starts to crumbled and break, the love of Harrys mother killed Quirrell. And in the end of the book, Gryffindor House wins the house cup.
The main characters are Harry Potter, Ronald Weasely, and Hermione Granger. Harry, was a normal boy, until discovering he was a wizard, his parents were wizards, and he was famous for the downfall of a corrupt wizard. Harry fights trolls, and plants, very headstrong, good willed, and smart. Ronald Weasely comes from a wizarding family, has many big brothers and one sister, who is the youngest. He is smart, kind, and clumsy. He loves to joke and gets worried very quickly. Sticks up for friends, and won’t let anyone hurt them.
Hermione Granger, very smart, sweet, sometimes acts like a now-it-all. Cares for her friends, helps them out when she can. Professor Dumbledore, Head Master of the Hogwarts, very helpful and very kind, one of the most powerful wizards around. Hagrid, Greens Keeper at Hogwarts, one of Harrys friends, very sensitive, and a great love for animals. Professor Quirrell, Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, evil guy who helped Lord Voldemort. and Lord Voldemort.
The theme is, I think, that J.K. Rowling wanted to show was that good things can come from bad situations. Example: Hermione had ran to the girls restroom when Ron made fun of her, the troll got let loose and Ron and Harry went and fought the troll. Ron and Hermione were friends again afterwards. Rowling also wanted to show unexpected things can occur at any time. Sometimes you need help with things that you can’t handle, to not try and do everything yourself. Example: Fluffy, the Devils Snare, The Key Room, the chessboard, and the potions room. I think she also wanted to show aspects on friendships, companionships, loyalty, hard work, and teamwork. One of the conflicts in the book, not a big one, but a conflict none the less. Ron had been talking about how Hermione was a know-it-all and how she didn’t have any friends because of it.
The Term Paper on Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone: From Book to Film
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone was the first of seven book series by J. K. Rowling first published on July 1997. It is about the adventure of an eleven-year-old boy who grew up with his aunt and uncle and later discovers that he comes from a family of witches and wizards. The film adaptation of the book was released in 2001 by Warner Bros. , and, like any film adaptation, has had its share ...
She had heard him talking and was upset. She had went to the girls restroom and not come back out. Quirrell comes running into the dining hall yelling that there was a troll in the dungeon. The troll, had not been in there, it actually found its way to the girls restroom. Ron and Harry realize that Hermione was not in her room and started searching the castle for her, when they did, the troll was to kill her. Ron and Harry saved her by knocking out the troll and escaping.
The second conflict was trying to get to the Sorcerers Stone beneath the castle. They had to get past Fluffy, the three-headed dog, past the Devil’s Snare, fly a broom to get the right key to unlock a door, play across a chessboard, and find the right potion to get passed the flames blocking the door to the room with the Stone and Professor Quirrell. The setting of the story is in London. Places like the Leaky Cauldron, Gringotts Bank, Ollivanders, and other places. Also takes place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Attending classes, making friends, the dining hall, dungeons, and on the Quidditch Field.
The Quidditch field is where certain team members from the houses compete in a game flown on brooms. The point of view is told in third person. I think Rowling chose third person to help show what was going on. To help us understand what was going on with each person. For more of an in-depth look at the students and teachers so that we know what they are thinking and feeling. I thought the book was awesome.
I couldn’t put it down from the moment I picked it up. Filled with magic, friendship, loyalty, betrayal, fighting and many twists and turns. The unexpected happening around every corner. So intriguing that you don’t even want to blink until you’re done. I could read it over and over again..
