Health care spending in the United States have changed over the last year. The current national health care expenditures are explained. Whether, the spending is to much (high), or not enough (low/slow).
If the nation should add or cut some things and why do I believe this to be. The needs of the public has increased but the who optimally pays for these services. The future needs of the health care system, and how this should be addressed. The national health care spending in the United States start with the health care expenditures.
This is when data is collected to measure the annual health spending based on the type of services was delivered, such as a nursing home, a physician office, or a hospital. Then it looks at how the services were paid, an example of this would be the insurance companies, Medicare and Medicaid and they also look at the out-of pocket payments. When this information is collected the government looks a broad range of things such as the different ages for the services. The way the ages are broken down is by children (0-19) adults (20-64) and, seniors (65 and older).
Another collected data is the state expenditures which add in the number of residents in an area that services as needed. The last thing that is collected is the how many sponsors are paying for the healthcare expenditures. This data will determine how much everyone will pay for their health care services. The current level of the national health care expenditures is moving slow. According to the AEIeas, (2014) the way the economy is going with people losing their job more often than before people are going to the doctor less than before, this is causing a decrease in health care spending.

If people are getting laid off from their jobs, then they are not paying for health insurance because it is too expensive or they just cannot afford the insurance. The economy is growing faster than ever but the peoples earnings just cannot keep up with the change of the nation. There are older people going into nursing homes and demand more care than ever. Because of people are in so much pain the pharmacies are increasing because of the high demand for painkillers. The thing that the United states can add to the health care spending by educating more people on ways to decrease diseases.
The U. S. should start a program that starts to educate people of this nation as early as Kindergarten about how important it is to exercise and eat healthier. By doing this one thing it will save money in the long run because we would not have as many obesity people here in the nation. Obesity is the start of many different diseases such as heart disease, high cholesterol, diabetes, high blood pressure, and cancer just to name a few. (Lyn,2013).
The way the public health care needs are paid is through insurance and state funding.
But when you stop and think about it, it is all tax payers that pay for the health care needs of the public. The future economic needs of the health care system is going to change so much that their will not be enough doctors to see the patients. According to the Association of American Medical Colleges, big cities are already seeing this impact like states like New York and San Diego. There is just to many patients to see and not enough physicians to see them at this time. If we also take a look at Oklahoma City, because of the big health care change if you go to make an appointment to see a doctor there is a 20 day wait.
The Health Insurance Crisis in America Health insurance comes as second nature to many of us. We grab that blue and white card and put it in our wallet behind old Irving fill-station receipts and forget about it until we are sick or injured. When this happens, there it is, cushioning our fall like the extra padding it provided to cushion our wallets. This is not the case with everyone, however. ...
And if you need to see a specialist there is a 60-90 day waiting period. This is because everyone can go to the doctor now. This is also why there are more and more urgent care facilities popping up all over the place. And a lot of the times patients will not see a physician, but a nurse practitioner or even a physician assistant. The reason for this is that these professions can work with a physician present or on site and they can also write prescriptions just like a physician can.
More companies are starting to bundle things, an example is that if a patient goes into a clinic to receive care, everything that patient needs to taking care of them is in this bundle at one flat rate. This means certain thing that is needed for that procedure will be bundled up in one package. If clinic or physicians can come up with a way to still provide quality care and do this for less money then their revenue will increase. Another thing that people will see is that many companies are letting the people who are approaching retirement loose, because it just cost to much to keep them with the company.
They become more of a problem to keep them, because of the high risk of falls and taking off because of a procedures. But this is why the health care reform pushed so hard to help people become covered by health insurance. The need for health insurance needed to be address because so many people that were ill was getting kicked of their insurance plans because they already had a pre-existing case, that meant for the insurance companies would pay more money for that patient or policyholder than that of a healthier person.
This in return would mean that the insurance companies would charge these policyholders more money of just cancel their policy. Due to the over crowding of the physician offices, their needs to be a faster and better way for people to be seen. Because there is such a shortage of doctors we can let the Advanced Practice Registered Nurses do more like see the patients. These APRN? have to go through so much school and pass the national boards just like a physician does but a lot of the time their training is never used to their potential training.
Another suggestion is that the government can forgive all the student loans of a physician once they become in practice of their degree. This will encourage more physicians to go to school to become physician and not have to stress about any loans. The government can also offer the doctors that are close to retiring a incentive to stay on a little while longer. And we can also offer more training for people like APRN? , Physician Assistant? , Nurse Practitioner? , and Mid-wives. Reward physicians for their hard work and dedication. Let physicians build their own medical team of RN?

And anyone that would help that physician job easier. The way that these needs will be financed is through the government and the taxpayers. If we as a nation stand behind the people that dedicate so much time and money to treat people us then their would be more people going to school for physicians. Since the time we are little education here in the United States have been being pushed into the young minds and the future of Americans. But at the same time every year tuition goes up higher and higher to receive that degree.
Only when it has been obtained, there are no jobs available or the requirements are just to high as far as the experience for a person just out of school with none. I have giving examples of health care needs and what we can do as a nation to help with the problems that have arisen with the health care system. How these needs can be paid and who will be responsible for them. The current level of the national health care expenditure was also explained what is collected to make that up. Whether, the spending is to much are not enough. The things that was talked about was explained.
