This aims to encourage you to develop as a reflective practitioner. You will be expected to complete a minimum of 200 hours of work experience in order to achieve this module, which may be completed either on an unpaid basis or as an employee. Evidence for assessment of the module will originate from your own practice, observations and learning in the practice setting(s) supplemented by wider understanding and knowledge gained from all parts of the programme and if appropriate, from wider experience. You will demonstrate your learning from your experience in work experience or care employment.
You could plan your own personal development, monitor your progress and revise the plan as appropriate for achieving the learning outcomes and personal targets. You will be expected to present a portfolio of evidence that accurately reflects your abilities as a reflective practitioner. Evidence from workplace settings should be validated and authenticated by appropriately qualified expert witnesses.
