History Essay Communist revolution in China and Islamic in Iran are generally regarded as simple reactionary response of traditional eastern societies to the advance of Western civilization. Many historians suggest that the driving forces behind these revolutions were purely economical or religious ones. In my opinion, such approach is deprived of an understanding of psychological rules, according to which non-white societies operate. It happens very often in history when social reformism is caused by something absolutely different than what it officially proclaims. The Chinese communism is the best example. If we look at it from historical prospective, will realize that Chinese communist leaders have never seriously accepted the concept of proletarians being equal, regardless of their race. From the time when Communism took over in 1949, Mao was only waiting for the chance to break away from Soviet Union and pursue with its own vision of it. Although many Communist principles were being deployed in Chinese society under Mao, they didnt come as something unnatural, like it happened when Communists tried to stir revolutions in Germany and Hungary after the end of the First World War. As a matter of fact, communist ideas were being integrated in Chinese society during its thousand years of history, since Chinese people had never known any other form of government but despotism. Meticulously, Chinese emperors used to gather lands while having only one goal to make Chinese empire bigger.

Common citizens only thought of its government being effective or ineffective, in terms of this primary function. As long as they felt themselves living in empire that continuously grows, theyd gladly forget any such nonsense as democracy of human rights. The first thing Mao did after acquiring a political power is acquisition of Tibet. Next, came military clashes with its former ally Soviet Union, over the territories in the Russian Far East. Today it appears very likely that Chinese regime is preparing for the invasion in Taiwan The only reason for Communism in China to still exist as form of government is because it enables this countrys further geographical expansion. But, of course, there is no even a trace of Marxs internationalism in it.
If tomorrow there would be even better ideology invented to guarantee that, China would accept it and drop Communism altogether. Still, it appears very unlikely that this will happen in near future. The only time when communist ideas were being deployed in how they were originally intended to, was Cambodia during the regime of Pol Pot. Marx wouldve been proud of this bloody dictator for exactly following his recipes: abolition of family women are shared whether they want or not, 12 hours a day working for food without holidays, making everyone to wear the same gray ropes to emphasize their equality. Chinese Communism is a very mild version of Marxs idea of paradise on earth. In a way, this ideology is much more traditional to Chinese than the concept of Islamic state to the people of Iran.
What happened in this country in 1981 is often described as conservative revolution. But think it would be a mistake to draw comparisons between fundamental Islam and conservative revolutions in Europe, during thirties. This is because such revolutions in Europe were being driven by totally different ideas they were essentially the attempts to free societies from burden of outdated religious doctrines, while in Iran such doctrine went on offensive. Islam is only the alive religion in the world. Even in such progressive countries like Turkey, people still drop down on their knees five times a day to pray Allah. One time it seemed like nothing could stop Islam from spreading all over the world.
The Term Paper on Albania Country 1990 People
Albania: The Development of a Developing Country Albania, a small country located in Southeastern Europe, is a nation that does not have a true identity - its people are Muslim and Christian, it is a country that is both and poor, it is as much urban as it is rural, and has evolved from monarchy to socialism and now to fledgling democracy. In other words, Albania and its people have seen it all. ...
In 1651 Ottoman army was besieging Vienna. Yet, from the beginning of eighteenth century Islam is being on defensive positions. Its influence in the world was being continually undermined by European political and industrial expansion. This seemed incomprehensible to many true Muslims. They were wondering why Allah has turned its face from them. As any religious people they couldnt come with better explanation, but to suggest that their faith wasnt being quite as strong as God wanted it to be.
Islamic fundamentalism is nothing else but an attempt to make Allah love his people, like he used to. As time went by, Muslim radicals started to realize that the expansion of Western ideas had to be stopped at any cost, because otherwise itd be only the matter of time before Islam would extinct. They decided to try a huge social experiment take over political power in one of the Muslim countries and make the whole country subjected to the laws of Islam. In their view, this would be the ultimate gesture that would cause Allah to bless this country and make it competitive with Western powers. As we can see now, this attempt turned out to be nothing but complete failure. God simply doesnt care about peoples prayers, whether theyre Christians or Muslims. This is the reason why Christianity is not taken seriously by anyone with higher education in the West.
There are also Christian fanatics in Europe and America as well, but nobody really considers them as being able to simply impose their views onto the whole societies. Yet, in Muslim countries, people instead of dropping this outdated religious concept, still hang on to it. Apparently, the Islamic revolution in Iran wasnt quite radical for many of them and thats why we now have the Al-Queda In my opinion, the true reason why Communism in China and Islamic radicalism in Iran were able to succeed taking over the political power, is because the quality of population in these countries made it possible. Nothing like this could ever happen in Europe. The theory of Bell Curve has effectively proven the fact the 60% of peoples behavioral patterns are biologically motivated. If were to uncover the true reasons behind worlds many socio-political stresses, well need to analyze them from biological prospective, rather then from political or cultural.
The Term Paper on Critical analysis of Good Country People by Flannery O’ Connor
Good Country People is one of the most sought after works of Flannery O’ Connor. It is said to be the biography of O’Connor but she never claimed it to be such. The novel Good Country People seems to reflect the current situation and emotional status of O’ Connor while she was writing the novel, and if it is not in fact her biography, her emotion at that time has influenced the novel greatly. ...
In order to be able to do this, well have to reconsider the concept of political correctness though.
