Our hometown is where our roots lie. Mine lie in a peaceful little town nestled in the north-west of Romania, called Satu Mare, with a history going back to the Middle Ages. Today, it is an academic, cultural, industrial and business centre in northwestern Romania. At first it may not seem to be the most amazingly beautiful and interesting city, but as soon as people start to discover its secrets I am sure it will strike a chord with everybody.
The city is located on the Someş Meadow on both sides of the river, which narrows in the vicinity of the city and widens upstream and downstream from it. This watercourse provides daredevils with suitable places for practicing kayaking and its banks are just good for the fishing enthusiasts to exercise their favorite sport. Basically, it is not more than a small and crowded town, with its streets full of bustling people and with traffic filled roads. The night life, even if it may not be the most lively and diverse, It is just pleasant enough for people to be able to spend a good time uptown. The city consists of numerous neighborhoods and on the outskirts there are a lot of charming places with stunning sceneries and On the right side of the Somes, is located the city centre which again is split into two areas, The New Centre and The Old Centre. The New Centre is the right place for young people who are looking for a fun time as there are numerous clubs and restaurant with delicious cuisine. Also, there are many trendy and exclusive shops and even a commercial centre named Somesu, which is the perfect place for fashionistas or shopaholics.
The Essay on City People Bushman Technology Society
In the movie, The Gods Must Be Crazy, showed a clash of two diffrent cultures. The two cultures are very close together but nothing alike. Two elements of culture that cause the clash between the primitive society and the advanced society, were technology and religion. Technology is the inventions that improve everyday life. The tools that a culture has reflects the advancement of culture. ...
In addition to these, one of the squares is located precisely near the banks of the river, near the commercial Centre. In the middle of it it’s settled the administrative palace, with it’s walls standing proudly. This square the place where many concerts are organized, being invited both local artists and more famous singers. Stilish The old centre is made up of a lot of beautiful old buildings, with a special and gorgeous architecture and of a lot of impressive places which are well worth a visit. Two of the biggest parks of the town are located here, The Garden of Rome, which features some rare trees which are uncommon to the area and The Central Park. Thee Garden of Rome, again provides people with a great place for spending a delightful time. It has a pond, with Hidrobicyles, playgrounds for kids and even an adventure park, perfect for the ones who would like to face some nerve-racking challenges.
The Central park is neighbouring one of the most well known hotels from SAtu Mare, The Dacia Hotel. However, one of the most appreciated tourist attraction, in my point of view, is the Firemen’s tower. If you don’t suffer from fear of heights it is necessary that you go up, to sample the magic of the most breathtaking bird eye views over the urban zone. For the art lovers there are also many things to be seen :museums, the North Theatre, art galleries, a county librabry and The Dinu Lipatti Philharmonic where the most beautiful concerts are given by symphonic orchestras. For those who fancy admiring unique and timeless architectures, there are a lot of churches and spectacular buildings and also many wonderful statues. In conclusion, I dearly recommend a trip to Satu Mare as it is, I dare say, a city that can suit to everyone’s taste. I would go so far as to say it is can be regarded a city of contrasts.
