They say that the best way to manage our stress is to learn healthy coping strategies. I myself sometimes don’t know how to manage it but there are times that I learn how to deal with it. The say let your feelings out. So I talk, laugh, cry, and express anger when I need to. Talking with my friends especially my best friend , family, about my feelings is my healthy way to relieve stress because if I didn’t do this things, I always end up being feeling sick. W hen problems arise, I always give myself time to think about it, how it can affect me, how big is the impact that this particular will give me.
I am a type of person who used to smile even if there is pain inside me. A kind of person who just laughs at it and waits until it becomes bubbles. Because I believe in the saying that “When we think about problems, they grew double. But when we laugh about them, they became bubbles. I just always put my trust in our God Almighty because all problems that we are encountering is given by HIM and He will not give those problems to us if he knew that we cannot solve it. I just learn to look above and say “Oh God, have mercy on me, I know you are doing the best for me and making me strong in every trials in my life”.
School? Oh yes school is the most stressor in my life, there are lots of paper works, but that doesn’t ruined me. Though I am cramming all the time. I used to relax my mind before I do it. I just think that if I don’t do those assignments and paper works, I will not be able to get the grades I am wanting and the worse is I will not be able to pass those subjects that is needed for me to graduate. The terror professors are also one of the stressor of most students but we students are trying to reach out for them, I myself tried to deal with them though sometimes I think about them If they will give the grades I need. Going to school is somewhat a challenge, so I used to prepare myself before I left our home. I take a bath for me to face the outside world with freshness look. I always remind myself to leave family problems at home for me to deal with another life at school.
The school where my friends and classmates are waiting. That in them I find my true self. The real me. In them, I am letting all my feelings out that I cannot show in our house. With them, I can easily get rid of those problems especially when we are talking and gossiping (our favorite work) Joking and sharing laughter with each other. This is because we believe in the saying “Laughter is the best medicine, it’s cheaper than medicine” so just laugh and laugh until your tummy aches, and is because smile is can also make someone feels better. Developing a sense of humour must take place. One of the barriers to stress reduction is the temptation to take things too seriously. When I feel tired, I just take a nap though that nap can sometimes last for several hours. This relieves my tension. And this is really effective. I watch television, I love listening to music especially love songs, it makes my heart feel calm.Music really make me relaxed and happy. Some people used to smoke to feel calm, but for me it’s not. I don’t smoke nor drink alcohol because this is not good for my health as we all know. When I feel nervous, I take a deep breath, inhale and exhale. I don’t have any form of exercise, my only exercise is just walking.
