How stealing affects the community:
In this essay I’m going to explain some of the circumstances of stealing from local stores, or any store.
Stealing is a major problem in today’s life because of the economy and unemployment rates, and it affects everyone, yourself, and the community in a big way. The stores get about three cents per every dollar purchased for an item in which they earn as profit, but stealing sets the store’s profit plummeting into more debt.
Some stores might even close down because of loss of the profit and the shoplifters making the store go bankrupt.
The stores usually raise their prices on the products and then that causes more stealing, but the people that don’t shoplift just end up having to pay more for the product or else go somewhere else to shop for the same product. If the customer goes to a different store because of the rising prices the store that raised the prices will also lose business and therefore could cause them to go out of business if enough customers leave.
From stealing I’ve found out what happens to the stores and the people that keep trying to get five finger discounts on products. If you do shoplift you will feel immense humiliation and distrust from friends and family, and your own conscious and self-esteem is hurt if it isn’t then there is something wrong with your feelings and not feel bad when stealing from stores. People in the community lose respect and trust for you. It helps out the community service areas if you have to do community service while the culprit is stuck doing numerous hours of work, without any pay, but it doesn’t help you at all.

The argument has emerged in recent years the Australian distinctiveness lies in the diverse, not the common, ancestry of its people. We are, it is said, Australian ...
Stealing can also affect you towards the community, because if you have stealing on your record it will be difficult to get a job because employers nowadays do a background check and they don’t want people who break the law working for them. Just stealing from that store will prevent you from getting a job there ever or any of that kind if it is a chain.
Even if it affects your community, and you should care about that. Even if peer pressure is a factor, or just the fact that you just wanted the product and didn’t have or enough money, stealing is wrong…
