Things I needed to do were: •Packing •Moving all the boxes and furniture from one place to another •And thanking everyone who helped before and after moving everything. Have you ever noticed how hard it is to move? So many things could go wrong. You need a plan, and there are a lot of things you need to do to prepare for. When I moved four years ago, I did not know what to expect. This was my first time moving as a teenager, and I thought it was going to be easy.
I moved from a house to an apartment and there were things I needed to do before and after I moved. I needed to start packing, moving all the boxes and furniture from one place to another, and thanking everyone who helped before and after moving everything. For two days, my mom brought home as many boxes and newspapers as she could fit into our Chevrolet Blazer. Then for two weeks, my mom and I spent packing all the glass ware, clothes, books, and food. I thought the packing part was easy. Two days before we actually moved, my mom called her best friend to make sure she was going to help us move.
We spent three days moving. On day one: I woke up around 9 A. M. Mom was already up finishing taping up boxes. Mom’s best friend came over around 10 A. M. I started to bring down the boxes that were in my room because it was on the second floor. Mom and her best friend started to take the boxes from the main level and started to load the vehicles. After both vehicles were filled with boxes, the three of us drove 15 minutes from the east to west side of town. When we arrived, I got out first to run up two flights of stairs to open the door.
The Essay on Divorce Brother Moved Mom
Some say time heals all wounds, and I would have to agree with them in some situations. When I was eight or nine, I went through something I thought I would never get over. My parents divorced. They had been fighting for awhile, but I never thought that they would actually separate. Then the day after New Years my mom left. I was in shock. My older brother left with her. Soit was only my dad, ...
We had a system on bringing the boxes up the stairs; Mom would go all the way up and move the boxes from the stairs to inside the apartment, and her best friend and I would move the boxes from the cars to the top of the stairs. We did this until noon. I was in so much pain after the first day because I have never seen that many stairs in my life. Then on day two: Mom and I moved the big things like the beds, TVs, the TV stands, the couch, the stereos, dressers, microwave, table and chairs, book shelves, and stove. This took us all day to do.
Day three: Mom and I went to pick up the rest of the boxes and turn in the old house keys to the bank. Finally after relaxing for a day in our new apartment, Mom called up her best friend and asked if we could come over to her house. She said yes. When we got there, Mom and I gave her a big hug and thanked her for all her help. Right before we left to go run errands, Mom gave her $40 for gas and other expensive. Mom thanked me by taking us out to a movie and dinner. In conclusion, there were three things I needed to do to before and after I moved.
They were starting to pack, moving all the boxes and furniture from one place to another, and thanking everyone who helped before and after moving everything. So many things could go wrong when moving. In reality, I found moving was very hard, painful, and very different than what I saw in movies and from listening to other’s experiences. I’m glad my moving experience went well and nothing went wrong besides being in pain at the end of it. I wouldn’t know what to do if something went wrong. There was one thing I did learn from moving. I learned you can always count on family and friends on help you move.
