When I was seven years old, a horrible thing happened in my life. My father passed away. It was traumatic to lose him. However, from this experience, I acquired mature qualities at a young age. I care very much about people. Feeling the pain of loss has helped me to understand how others feel. I do know what it is like and I don?t like it when people have to feel that pain in their hearts. I want to listen when people have something to say and, hopefully, help them out. I try not to complain about the little things. I try to show appreciation for my life. This experience has showed me that there is more to life than having everything be perfect. When something is challenging me, I know I can make it by asking the Lord for help. He has helped and guided me through my life . I know he is watching over each of us, ready to help whenever we turn to him. This experience has given me a strong testimony of my Heavenly Father and his plan for me and I know that he is always there for me. Although I miss my daddy, I have had a very blessed life. I try to live my life in a way that would not disappoint my Heavenly Father or my daddy in Heaven, so I can return to them. In order to survive this tragedy, I had to grow up young. Losing my Daddy John was the worst thing that has happened to me. This experience, however, has given me characteristics that make me a strong daughter of God. I have faith in the Lord that if I endure his plan for me, it will bring me happiness in the Eternities to come.
