I am writing this essay because on January 17th, 2012, I failed to report to my appointed place of duty at the proper time. I accidentally turned off my alarm clock instead of hitting the snooze button, which I usually do. This does not excuse anything, but it is the reason. There are many reasons why being on time is important, both inside and outside of the military. Failing to be at a place you are supposed to be at the right time can cause so many problems, including losing your job, receiving counseling statements, having to write ridiculously long essays which take up more free time than you really have, receiving an Article 15, and creating more work for your peers. If you are late to work or a job interview, the first thing your employer will see is that you did not take time to make sure you could make it to where you need to be on time. You will be seen as unprofessional and that you really do not care about your job. In the military it is not any different. You will not be recommended for promotion, you might not receive any awards if you have negative counselings or Article 15’s. You might have to be micromanaged more often due to being seen as not being able to take responsibility for your actions.
If you are a civilian, you can very easily lose your job once they see that you do not take any pride in your work. Losing your job is not a very appealing option in today’s society since the economy is the worst it has been in a very long time, so just being on time can help you keep your job. An Article 15 can create even more problems if you are in the military, since your leadership has the right to take away even more time from you, and even take your rank and pay. This can create even more problems for you if you have a family and bills to take care of, so being on time is extremely important. Another reason for being on time is that if you are late for work, it can cause a strain on your peers. When you are late, other people have to pick up the slack that you are leaving by not being where you need to be at the right time. If other people have to do their work and your own, deadlines might not be met for the day and people might have to stay late because you failed to be at work at the proper time. It can also be seen as a sign of disrespect to your leadership to some people, probably because they see it as you do not care about them enough to be where you should be when they want you to be.
The Essay on Getting a part time job while at school
I have achieved a quite number of things in life at my age of which some I did not expect, but was by God’s mercy, and what I realized is that it is not good to be discriminative when it comes to getting a job because it is from that job that one can advance to another. When I was still a high school student, I used to have money problems. My parents used to give me money, but it was never enough ...
You are breaking the trust you have with your leadership by not letting someone know if you are going to be late, or by not showing up at all. Trust is very important to have because without trust from your leadership, work can be very hard to get done. Your leadership might have to watch everything you more carefully and waste their time making sure that you get things done the proper way, since you could not even show them that you could be at work at the right time. Being late or not showing up at all shows a lack of leadership, responsibility, discipline, and selfless service to your country because you are failing the United States of America, the Army, your leadership, and your peers by not showing up to where you need to be at the proper time. Being late can also be a problem if information is being given out.
If you are late to work and someone has given out information that pertains to you, then they have to waste more time and energy telling you because you were not there the first time the person told everybody. Being on time is very important for accountability purposes. If you do not show up where you are supposed to, when you are supposed to, then that could create problems for your leadership because they do not know where you are. You could have been in an accident, died in your sleep, or had something else happen that prevented you from coming to work, and nobody in your chain of command would know about it unless you contact them from your deathbed and let them know what happened. They would all be worried and scared not knowing where you are if you do not show up where you need to be at the proper time.
Started University Time Work Make
I never realised how important time is until I started university. Getting the best out of you studies in university is forgoing one thing for another. (opportunity cost). When I first started university I was working full time. As time went by I realised that I just could not cope, so I decided to work part-time while studying. I can now cope better with my school work load and can produce a ...
I was not in any sort of accident or anything that would have prevented me from letting someone in my chain of command know, I was just asleep because I turned off my alarm by accident, so this does not apply to my situation, but this is what happens when you do not show up to your appointed place of duty at the appointed time. To conclude this essay, I will try harder to be at my appointed place of duty at the appointed time so this sort of thing does not happen again. I will set two alarms and try to wake up on time for physical training so I do not get called out of ranks or get any more counseling statements, and so I do not have to write any more essays on why being on time is important. It is a very important thing, not just in the military, but in the civilian world as well. Your boss and/or leadership will have more faith in you if you can show them that you are responsible enough to show up to work on time, and you will not have any more wasted time if you show up on time.
Your peers will not have to pick up your slack if you show up where you need to be at the proper time because you will be able to do your own work. Work will get done faster and nobody will have to waste time trying to find out where you are at if you are not late to work or physical training. Your leadership will not have to waste time and energy micromanaging you, and you will not have to stay at work as late due to not being where you need to be to do the work you are supposed to get done. Being on time shows that you are a professional, it can help prevent you from being fired from your job or receiving negative counseling statements or Article 15’s, and everybody can live happier knowing you are not dead in a ditch somewhere because you showed up to where you need to be when you need to be there.
The Essay on Travel Job Time Work
I chose to job shadow Rich KIds, a travel consultant because the job is very up to date and fast pace. There is rarely time to fool around or take time off. Characteristics that I have noticed that are a must in this field would be the will to help people and get them to gain your trust, being very punctual with almost everything you do, and having a lot of patience. The margin for error is so ...
