Indian TV channels have been telecasted for many years in Bangladesh which really has had a bad impact on our society, culture and traditions. Many people of our country are watching these TV serials and they are very fond of these programs. In my opinion, Indian TV channels should be banned. Indian TV channels are affecting our culture. First of all, people of our country are now following different cultures and traditions so that our culture is about to be extinct. They follow what the actors and actresses of TV channels are doing in their cultural and religious programs. Like they are gorgeously dressed, decorated their house and highly organized for a small programs which need to waste a lot of money. Second, sometimes people are using a mixed language which is neither Bangla nor Hindi. People of our country are not using their mother tongue properly. Moreover, there has also been a big change in the attire of the people.
People are very much fond of wearing Indian dresses which they see on the Indian TV channels. People like to feel themselves like a celebrity and for being special and uncommon to others they wear celebrity dresses. Furthermore, people like to lead a different life style which is mostly similar to Indian TV channels. Each and every characters of Indian TV channel is very much dependent and extroverted so that they don`t care of their elders even. In addition, rituals of our country are also about to extinct. People of our country are now celebrating some religious programs which actually do not exist in their religion and custom such as Mehedi Night, Gayee Holud, Holi etc. Finally, we are not actually following our culture and traditions. This is because are mixing up their culture with other cultures as the Indian TV channels are representing their programs gorgeously.

Moreover, Indian TV channels are also effecting our social lives. Firstly, bondage of our family is weakening as people are not well taught by the Indian TV channels. People are motivated themselves by Indian TV channels and are getting jealous and crazy such as people always like to comment on others weakness and strength. Second it is shown in Indian TV channels that children or the parents like to live alone and separate as they are very self centered. Moreover, our social behavior has also changed. In the past we when we met any neighbors or relatives, we used invite them in our house.
But now we are not that much hospitable and social for taking care any of our neighbors, relatives or friends because we never leave to meet our friends or neighbors and relatives in TV serial time. We also feel disturb if they come to meet us at our home. Furthermore, people are becoming more suspicious of their family members and fellow friends. The youngers have many modern friends and sometimes they have misunderstanding among them. In addition, people cannot trust each other easily. Sometimes the suspicious is so high that there becomes a big fight among the parties. Finally, Indian TV channels limit our thoughts and ideas. We have to lead a monotonous routine life if we are fond of Indian TV channels. In addition, there are no morals and interesting stories among those channels. Most of the time programs content illogical ideas and thoughts. We also cannot think different new ideas in our leisure time.
