I chose to draw an angel as my final creative project because I wanted to symbolize innocence with an angel. I think that our world is growing at a rapid rate. Everything on the earth is also growing with it. This includes the children. The children now a day are becoming mature a lot faster than they have before. I think that a child should stay a child for as long as possible for it is a wonderful time.
Angels represent innocence and goodness. They are creatures of God. I think children were born free of sin and that is why they are similar to angels. However, most children loose the innocence a child has because they become corrupted by the world they are living in. When we look out onto the streets, we see a lot of children dressing as teenagers. Children now a day must be more aware of the dangers of living in our world for our world has transformed into a devils palace, where violence dominates. In our world today the mind of a child is not filled with the story book fantasies or what fun they will have at preschool, but of when they can start wearing makeup or if their pretty enough to become a model.
I think the beauty of a child is that they see things so innocently. The eyes of a child dont discriminate against another race. To them all humans are equal. Unaware of race, ethnic differences, and color, children can be role models of how people should treat each other. However, now children are mutating into mini adults. Their eyes discriminate. They have learned to hate others at an early age because of our society.
