The Internet nowadays has become an important tool in our daily life. Internet can help us communicate with our family and or friends abroad. Internet provides us the informations that we need in our studies. Through internet we can study and have an online job. Internet can make our work easy. This techology provides life’s conveniences. But this internet has positive and negative effect in every individuals. The Internet is a global system of interconnected computer networks that use the standard Internet protocol suite(TCP/IP) to serve several billion users worldwide. It is a network of networks.
One positive effect of the Internet to the students is that it provides the ability to access unlimited information and connect with one another worldwide. Negative effects can include the difficulty to remove information that was not authorized or people being taken advantage of. Many consider the decline of physical interaction between people to be a negative effect as well. Students must know on how to use the internet properly. In order for them to know on how to use the internet properly they should control themselves and be aware of what’s happening in our society. They should know that there are some disorders that they can get when they overuse the internet.

It is stated as: Internet Addiction Disorder (IAD) or, more broadly, Internet overuse, problematic computer use or pathological computer use, is excessive computer use that interferes with daily life. Online activities which, if done in person, would normally be considered troublesome, such as compulsive gambling, or shopping, are sometimes called net compulsions. Other habits such as reading, playing computer games, or watching a staggering amount of internet videos or movies are all troubling only to the extent that these activities interfere with normal life.
