I understand why those who are against corporal punishment feel the way they feel because of certain experiences or empirical evidences. Before I read all these articles on spanking children, I never thought that it would actually cause your child to be more aggressive and that it could cause mental problems. At first, I was a 100% towards spanking your child but now I can say I am about 50/50 on both debates. I don’t think there is a clear, unambiguous answer to this debate because both make a lot of sense.
