Module 6 Journal Entry Form
I will prioritize my GCU assignments along with work and personal activities as I do everything else in my life. I take my schedule for the week, prepare for appointments, adjust for my son’s football practice, and ensure my daughter makes it to piano practice on time. Once I have home life and work life appointments or scheduling complete, I then make plans to complete weekly assignments. I usually spend time in the forum to answer questions and respond to other students concerning the weekly topics each evening after I shut down my work computer.

Two best practices that I use are answering both daily questions on the same day as well as setting up the paper for my weekly assignment, which meets the GCU Style Guide expectations. It is important to understand the parts of the GCU assignment because if a student does not grasp the purpose of the paper, then it will be almost impossible to create an essay that meets the required criteria. The assignment, objectives, and rubric are all tools that provide each student specific criteria which ensure all components and requirements have been met.
By properly reading an assignment, I allow myself an opportunity to prepare my weekly schedule accordingly. Properly reading each module and all information concerning the assignment will set me up for success as I prepare to meet the objectives, assignment requirements, and rubric expectations. I have not had issues or difficulties concerning this module. The information is straight forward and easy to understand.
