There are many famous individuals through the history who made great impact on our lives. We can go on and on to list them all but for my topic I would like to choose one of the wisest person who ever lived is king Solomon. During his era the Israel kingdom achieved a lot of success in trading, expansion and fair judgment. Also Solomon regarded as an author of high skill and remarkable output. The writings that have been attributed to him are the biblical Proverbs, the Song of Solomon, Ecclesiastes, the Wisdom of Solomon, and the later Psalms of Solomon. The book of Proverbs expresses the conclusion of the will of man.
Together, the books of Psalms, Proverbs and Ecclesiastes give us the understanding of the soul of man. In Psalms you have the emotional nature, which is one part of the soul function. Ecclesiastes deals with the function of the mind, the search of man reason throughout the earth, analyzing, evaluating, weighing and concluding. But in the book of Proverbs we have the appeal to the will of man and the conclusion of the will. Therefore, this book is all about the things man should decide, the choices of life. This is beautifully set before us in the introduction to the book.
We all know that education is not only the key for our success and good life but also expansion of knowledge and information. “To know wisdom and instruction, to discern the saying of understanding, to receive instruction in wise behavior, righteousness, justice and equity; to the youth knowledge and discretion, a wise man will hear and increase in learning, and a man of understanding will acquire wise counsel, to understand a proverb and a figure, the words of the wise and their riddles.” (The proverbs 1: 2-6).

In these saying King Solomon wanted to pointed that being wise and get more knowledge as possible will benefit the person. And also the more person knows it is easier for him to live in the world. In wisdom try to find the grace of God.
“The curse Lord is on the house of the wicked, but He blesses the dwelling of the righteous. Though He scoffs at the scoffers, yet He gives grace to the afflicted. The wise will inherit honor, but fools display dishonor.” (Proverbs 3: 33-35).
The fool disrespects the things of God.
God in turn disrespect him. There but for the grace of God go all of us. In His unlimited love and mercy, God calls men and women to salvation by His grace alone. He blesses the homes of those who walk in His wisdom. Also there is no middle ground and no intermediate steps between wickedness and righteousness.
You either humble yourself before the Living God, or you don’t. Ultimately, there is either eternal honor and glory or shame and death. Verse 7 gives the key to the whole book. And since Proverbs is the book that deals with life, this is also the key verse to all of life and is one of the greatest verses in the Bible.
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction (Proverbs 1: 7).
This whole book approaches life from the position that God has all the answers, God knows everything. There is nothing that out of sight from his knowledge. He understands all mysteries, knows the answer to all questions. Therefore, the beginning of wisdom is to respect and fear God.
The fear of the Lord mentioned in the Old Testament is not a cowardly sort of fright that God is going to do something to you. There are two kinds of fear. There is the fear that God might harm us, a fear experienced by those who are trying to run from God. But in this verse fear that we might hurt him, that something we do might disappoint him or might upset his devoted heart in concern for us. Generally speaking fear of God means respect of God.
