LeafLab Report
|Full Name |Cynthia Barriera | |Date |09/01/13 |
Use this document to report your findings from the LeafLab Exploration Experiment. The lab report consists of three sections: Data, Exploration, and Lab Summary.
Data: copy any data, graphs, charts, or notes that you have saved in your LeafLab online notebook into this section. Exploration: Answer the questions. The questions in the Exploration section are the same questions in your LeafLab instructions. Lab Summary: Write a 100- to 200-word summary.
Data
To copy your data from your online notebook into this section, click on Export Graph and then copy and paste your data into this section. You must disable your pop-up blocker before exporting. Identify each set of data with a title.
Exploration
Answer the following questions in fewer than 100 words:
What is the relationship between an increase in light intensity and photosynthetic rate in leaves from a corn plant? How does this relationship compare with what you observed for tomato plants?
They both seem to be steady lines however in the corn leaf, it is a higher photosynthetic rate than in the tomato.
Photosynthetic saturation is the maximum rate of photosynthesis. What value of light intensity produced photosynthetic saturation in corn leaves?
The Term Paper on English Sample Question Paper
Question Paper Design SA 2 English Communicative Classes IX & X Code No. 101 The design of the question papers in English Communicative for classes IX & X has undergone a few changes. They are as under: Section A –Reading: 20 marks (Question 1-4) In the existing scheme of the question paper Students answer questions based on four unseen passages carrying five marks each –all the ...
You have to plot the O2 evolution and time at the different light levels. So a higher light level made a higher photosynthetic saturation.
Lab Summary
Address the following points in a 100-to 200-word summary:
Summarize the general principles and purpose of the lab.
Explain how this lab helped you better understand the topics and concepts addressed this week. Describe what you found challenging about this lab.
Describe what you found interesting about this lab.
The purpose of this lab is to see how different light filters and different levels of heat effect different kinds of leaves.
This lab helped me understand what was being discussed this week but showing us exactly how different level of light and heat effected the different kinds of leaves. I actually played around more with the lab and saw what I happened to other leaves other than the tomato and the corn leaves.
Before I understood exactly what I was supposed to do in the lab, I was completely lost! Then I reread the syllabus and I understood what I needed to do and from that point on, I understood. I am sure that if I had to do any of the math myself, it would be extremely hard for me to complete the lab.
I found it interesting to see that we could use different light filters. It was interesting to see what the different light filters did to the different leaves when I was playing around after the lab.
