Measuring and Graphing Data Purpose: We are going to graph data and make quantitative statements about our results. Materials: Scale for weight, meter stick for arm / leg length and height. Observations: Lab Questions: What relations do you see between the two graphs you made? I see that in the height and weight category, the hight was significantly greater than the weight, and in the arm and leg length category, the leg length was greater also. Are the graphs linear or non-linear? The graphs are non-linear, they do not have a consistent slope. Make two graphs from the data.
See observations. Conclusion: I have found out that in the research, the boys were heavier than the girls were. The height and length of the limbs was generally the same. The boys and the girls are more similar than I thought it would be. The weight was lower than I had predicted. The height was about right if not a little high but it seemed right for the most part.
From the research of arm and leg length, the leg length was much greater than that of the arm. I thought it would be alot closer than it was. The arm length was no where near the leg length. I thought thought that the arms would be bigger. The leg lengths were alot higher than I had predicted.
The Essay on The Legend of Maria Makiling
The many legends of Mariang Makiling tell of a young woman who lived on the beautiful mountain that separates the provinces of Laguna and Tayabas. Her dwelling place was never definitely known, because those who had the good luck to deal with her would wander about for a long time lost in the woods, unable to return; neither did they remember the way, nor were they agreed as to the place and its ...
I had hoped to see that the the legs would be shorter so it would prove right my theory in the beggining of the experiment. I was wrong that the legs would be shorter than the arms but it was a very fun experiment.
