There is no concrete evidence that smoking marijuana is extremely harmful to human. Marijuana is the third most used drug in America behind alcohol and tobacco. If marijuana were legalized, then the people using it would have to abide by certain laws such as age limit no one under the age of 21 should be allowed to buy or consume marijuana. No one should operate a vehicle under the influence of marijuana. The other law that should be in place is where you may use marijuana it should not be consumed around children or in public places, similar to the no smoking laws that have been put in place. The government would save a lot of money if marijuana were legalized for recreational use. They could use the money for far more important thing then busting someone for a joint. By legalizing marijuana for recreational use then there would be more opportunities for more jobs, because of different places opening up to grow and sell this product. In conclusion I think by legalizing marijuana for recreational use will not only benefit the American people it will also benefit the government by supplying more jobs and creating more tax dollars for the government. We can all look at the State that have legalized marijuana and see they have found a way for all that are involved to work together and legalize marijuana.
