The world is filled with different ethnic, racial, and religious values that in high school were checked at the door by the schools policies removing your freedom of choice. How often in high school did you get a chance to learn astronomy or photography? Not very often. In college, you choose to take the classes that you want. Unlike in high school, where everyone had the same schedule of reading, writing, and arithmetic. Granted those are the essentials of education, but there is so much more to the world than letters and numbers. Society is made up of choices. Choosing to attend college is one of the best decisions you will ever make in life. Freedom and equality are two other things that college opens you up to.
You will meet so many new types of people that you would have otherwise only ever said, Hi, can I take your order? to. These people are the faces of society, faces that were previously hidden from our site because they were different. They know who they are, making them social outcasts because they went against the norm. College life gives you too the chance to find out who you truly are. The freedom to wake up and go to sleep when youd like, talk to whom ever you choose to. It may take some time to get used to it but youll learn to love it.
So, if your future plans consist of asking people if they would like that super sized then college isnt for you, but if youd like to learn more about yourself and what you want, then after high school go to college. Itll be the best choice you will ever make.
