How would you feel if you were born in a family that has rules and regulations for every single thing? how does it feel to be living like a robot throughout your life. Discipline is important at some instances, and one could not deny that, in fact living without it makes us in a total chaos; however, everything has it’s limits and using discipline in every single aspect kills diversity. I personally think that children should be encouraged to be independent. Generally speaking, giving a child his own freedom of choice and independence shapes his personality, by making him creative, adaptable to life’s different circumstances. On the other hand, a child that is used to having rules all around can not be creative due to they very limited choices available and thus eventually turn in to a talking robot.
I remember having a classmate who has very strict parents that could not even make up her mind on her future studies without asking for her parent’s approval Moreover, independency helps a child in mingling with the society; having all these pool of life choices makes him more sociable and easy going creating a care free, extroverted character. On the other hand, a child that is used to too much discipline is almost always faced with this boarder that separates him form others and thus alienates him from people and shapes an introverted character. In short, one can safely say that children are the spices of life, the more you put an effort into raising them, the tastier your life is going to be. Therefore I encourage every parent or parent to be to put into this effort of giving their children a freedom of choice, by giving them their own space once in a while; I am sure that they will be surprised in the way they turn out to be.
