Throughout the my junior year of College English III, I got to learn a lot of myself. I realized what my strengths and weaknesses were. My strengths being able to comprehend more of the English language a lot better, reading faster, speaking more fluently, and writing in more in depth. My main weakness that I have noticed throughout the year would have to be my knack for procrastination. Looking back on the 3 quarters that have gone by and the fourth almost over, I am quite content with the progress that I have made over the 2 semesters. Surely, my grades fell because of my lack in participation. Going through my portfolios that I did in the past though pleased me. I don?t know if I was happy because I actually knew what I was doing and doing it well, I may add, or if it was just a simple assignment that I passed very well. I had received a lot of A?s and B?s for my work. I liked doing the poetry unit. For some reason, it is easy for me to The writing this year was excellent. I think that it was balanced pretty well from easy to hard. I think the hardest writing assignment that we received all year was the whole Shakespeare deal. The portfolios were not hard at all because the majority of them were what you thought, and not some paper that you had to research. The only other times we would have to write is when we had a test or a quiz that required an explanation for the answer. I would much rather have had multiple choice, because I also think that one of my weak points is explaining something in depth on a piece of paper.
The Term Paper on First Year Writing
The first year biology majors and accounting major of YU are all asking themselves the same question: “How is First Year Writing going to help me? ” As an accounting major in the Syms School of Business, I was extremely troubled by the university requirement to take first year writing as well. “How will FYW help me with balance sheets? ” I asked myself. How will this class get me an accounting ...
Fourth quarter reading happened to be my favorite time period only because the tow books we read interested me, not fully, but enough to keep my attention. Fahrenheit 451 was a little strange at first, but as we read on I began to understand what kind of world Montag was living in. I think I quickly began to like the book because I learned of Clarisses? age. Being able to relate to one character a little more makes a book seem more interesting. Arsenic and Old Lace was a pretty good book as well. Again, at the beginning, the book seemed a little strange, but reading on I liked it, because of the mixed up things that happened at the Brewster residents. I also enjoyed the reading this quarter because we got to watch the movies that went along with the books. Viewing the films gave you more visualization of the things you would think of in the book. We didn?t do a lot of activities where you as in an individual had to speak in front of a class. Which makes me happy in a way, because I am kind of shy when it comes to being in front of a large crowd and delivering a speech. But during the third quarter when we had to talk about a song and what it meant to us, that one time probably helped me out the most.
I have never ever talked to a group the size of a classroom about my mothers death. I didn?t go into details about too much, but I said what I needed. Saying that made me feel more confident about being open to talk about it. It?s kind of like a therapy for me. I would just like to thank Well as we both know my listening fluctuates day to day. There are times when I could listen to anyone speak about nothing to days when I can?t stand to listen to someone speak about something really important. Everyone has ways to channel out people. As you mentioned one time this past week, you based upon, us as students to give our fellow classmates the same desired attention that we would want from them. You said you would understand why ?we? wouldn?t listen to you since we do it day after day. I thought that was a good point. It is important to once listen to what people my age have to say.
This years College English III was a good class. I was lucky to be in the class that I was. I enjoyed going to fifth period. I thought that you were a fair teacher and humorous at times. I was pleased with your teaching skills and tatics. All in all, I loved my junior year in high school. Overall, the writing this year was great.
The Essay on My Time of the Year
People have their favorite season whether it is winter, spring, summer, or autumn. Out of those four seasons my favorite season is summer. Even though the temperatures can be outrageously ridiculous hot, I still enjoy the hot sun. Going to the beach is one of my favorite thing to do during the summer. After looking for parking at Huntington Beach for about an hour, I try to find the perfect spot ...
