What is meant by the term media convergence with regard to technology, and how has it affected everyday life? Media convergence in regards to technology, to me, means that there is an interlocking of all technologies. Media now can reach its audience on different platforms; television, Internet, and mobile devices. Media convergence makes it easier for everyone to gain access to important information and news headlines. If you do not have a television but have a smartphone, you can still keep up with current events by surfing the web on your mobile device. Technology is constantly changing. In order to keep up you have to be able to evolve with technology and learn how to use the new devices. Many older people are not comfortable with new technology and internet payments and find it difficult to keep up. When new technology emerges to the scene and catches on the older technology often becomes obsolete. Radio used to be the way people received there information, when the television was invented, it allowed its audience to see and hear what was being broadcasted. Now radio are hardly ever listened to, because we have television, computers, and mobile devices.
Some people are just not willing to learn the new technology because they find it is easier to stick with what they know. Many people still don’t have internet access in their homes and still use a landline phone, people like this will have to adjust to catch up with the rest of society and that may be hard for them. The internet has changed the way we shop, communicate and read. We can buy basically anything we want without leaving the house. There is no longer a need to go to a bookstore, there are now E-books. What is meant by the term media convergence with regard to business, and how has it affected everyday life? Media convergence with regards to business is basically when different forms of media come together to help a business grow, make money, and advertise. It is the integration of magazine, newspaper, music, radio, television, films, internet and communications. Media convergence is constantly changing because the Internet is limitless in its possibilities. Media convergence is a good thing for business, in my opinion.

It makes advertising so much easier, and reaches a broader audience, plus there is word of mouth. If a friend likes something on Facebook, for example, I’m more inclined to try the product or look more into it because I trust my friend’s opinion. This helps to introduce things to people who otherwise would not hear about it or try it. It helps create more revenue for business and this is cheap to low cost advertisement. What are some of the issues that result from dependency on modern media? Describe at least three issues. Many people are attached to their Iphones, their whole life is in that phone. If it gets lost they lose their contacts, important dates, music and many other things that they believe are important. And it costs hundreds of dollars to replace. Most modern media is electronic and uses electricity; if there is no electricity then they cannot connect to the internet, watch television, listen to the radio; it would be like going back to the dark ages. If you cannot connect to the outside world you would just be completely lost and not have any way to communicate with others, unless you have a landline phone that runs on batteries, and I do not know of anyone that uses those anymore.
The Essay on Meddling Media People One Things
I used to watch a really nice TV program every weekend. It is a youth-oriented show if my memory serves me right. Although I cannot remember the whole story any more, something we may call "a mere make believe" left an indelible mark in my memory. This is how it goes. Two of the many characters in the show were best of friends. They shared their secrets to one another, fought for each other, and ...
Another thing is people depend on the media a lot to influence them on what to do with their lives; where to eat, what to wear and how to talk. It is just fad after fad and many people get lost in it and lose their originality and I think that is a huge issue. How does media literacy help with responsible media consumption? Media Literacy helps with responsible media consumption because it helps to gauge which media outlets are real, spreading truth and un biased. It is so easy now to just post a blog or video of whatever you want and call it fact. If you are educated enough in modern media you will be able to decipher the real from the fake. It is important to ask yourself questions about what you are reading or watching. It is necessary to have the ability to think for yourself and not let others push their opinions on to you. Just because someone says it and a handful of people agree, doesn’t make it true. It also helps to keep things you don’t want you children to know about or if you want to monitor what your children have access to. It is not as simple as turning off the television anymore. There are other outlets that are available that kids and teenagers can get information.
