While attending a high school football game, I observed how men and women react differently in various environments. Football is more of a mans sport. It is rough and loud; just like men. More men are interested in the sport than women. From observing the men at this football game; I have some to conclude many things.
More men were loud and rowdy compared to women. The men were all there to actually watch the game; they observed the calls, questioned the referees, and they also observed the boys playing. The men thought they knew it all. They let the referees know when they were wrong; even though they were 100 yards away and the referees were up close. They also observed the plays that were being called by the coaches.
They certainly had opinions about there coaching also. Yet, I didn’t see any of them out on the field. They knew when a player missed a block or an opening on the field. Men are more criticizing of the game than women are. On the other hand, the women were their to socialize, watch the cheerleaders, and to see the half-time show. The women may have watched the game some too but most of the time it was when they were about to score.
The women cheered yet it wasn’t as loud or a scream like the men did. They also weren’t as rowdy or criticizing among the other fans. They didn’t boo at the referee when he made a bad call and they didn’t throw their two sense in when the coaches called a play. The women were more quiet and calm.
The Essay on Believes That Men Women Man Stereotypes
Looking At Women Scott Russell Sanders's essay portrays men as sex crazed animals and uses the protagonist to illustrate men's use of derogatory terms of men's views of women, and even the little, "How should a man look at a woman?" , he suggests that men see women as something to look at. He portrays the males condition the idea of the types of men in today's society. Sanders builds on the ...
The men and women were all their for the same purpose though; to cheer for their home team and to hope they won. Everyone in the stadium had at least one thing in common; they wanted to see their team go home with a victory. The women may not have watched the entire game but they still knew what was going on and they were still their cheering for their boys. After watching this game and actually seeing how people act differently at sporting events; I noticed that everyone always goes home thinking the same thing. Either it’s good or it’s bad but it’s always, I can’t wait until next Friday to see those boys play again. The men acted differently at the game then what they would have in a regular public setting but it just shows that they enjoyed their selves and it was money well spent..
