Ever since I was young I’ve always loved basketball. It started when I was young and I used to always watch my older brothers play in the driveway. I always wished I could play with them but they always said I was too young. Nevertheless, I was still persistent and practiced my game everyday. All the time I was looking up to my favorite player Lebron James.
I would watch his highlights on YouTube and try to mimic his moves exactly. If he did a through the leg stepback I would go right outside and try it. Whatever team he went to that was always one team that I cheered for. When he joined the Miami Heat I knew I would fall in love with that team. What I Already Know
I know that before Lebron joined the team it was Dwayne Wade was the leader. They won the championship in 2006 with only Wade as the superstar. He averaged 34.7 points per game, 7.8 rebounds, and 2.7 steals per game. Their coach is Eric Spoelstra. He currently holds the 2nd highest points per game in the finals in front of great players such as Michael Jordan and Tim Duncan. With good coaching and dedication from the players this team could go a long way. What I Want to Find Out
I want to find out why the Heat gets so much criticism from fellow teams and NBA fans. They are just like any other team with talented players, but for some reason people dislike Lebron James and Dwayne Wade being on the same team. I also want to find out how many championships they will win before their careers end. I am personally predicting three but it would be great to know for sure. I want to know how strong “The Big Three’s” bond will become on the court. Will they have one superstar nights? Will one superstar start receiving less touches and become an under rated player? Hopefully everything will go as planned. The Big Three will all have points in the double digits every game. Assists will be spread out evenly among them. Most of all they will work as a team and win games consecutively. Research
The Essay on Basketball Game Players Nba
Basketball Basketball was created a simple game. The primary objective was to place a ball, without dribbling, into a peach basket. However, like Darwin's theory of man, basketball has evolved into the most exciting exhibition of athletic ability. Basketball has seen many rule changes, because of the increasing ability of the players. Basketball is a melting pot, where black, white, and European ...
My research began with a simple Bing search. “Miami Heat Basketball” was the topic. Although I did not need to do much research a few useful sites came up. One showed the Miami heat’s players statistics. Nba.com gave me great information on the player’s points per game avg. number of assists and much more. My research also gave me information on Miami’s championship in 2006. Dwayne Wade had a spectacular performance with 34.67 points per game. All of my other information was obtained by my natural knowledge of the Miami Heat. What I Learned
I learned quite a bit from this I-Search project. I did not know Lebron James’s exact quote when he announced his move to the Miami Heat. I also was unaware of the date that he revealed it to the public. This was a day that I was greatly overjoyed. I also learned that in 2006 they won the NBA Finals. Dwayne Wade averaged 34 points a game and led his team to a tremendous victory. I learned from Lebron that hard work pays off. No matter who tells you that you can not always believe you can.
