Michael Andrew Fox was born on June 9th, 1961 in Edmonton, Alberta. His middle initial is really “A” not “J”. He made the switch when he began acting because he didn’t want people to think he was implying “Michael’s A Fox.” Fox began acting professionally at age 15 on the CBC television show Leo and Me. He enjoyed acting so much he decided to move to Although Fox made no large contribution to society, he opened the door for future comedians to follow in his footsteps. Fox also offered his fans a person to look up to, laugh at, and admire. Most of all he contributed entertainment for the world in accomplishments during his career such as landing roles on various sitcoms and major hit films such as Family Ties and Back to the Future. Along with Fox’s accomplishments comes awards. Fox has won various awards in his career such as Emmies and Grammies for his performances in movies as well as Although Fox didn’t “change” the world, I beleive he made it aa more enjoyable place, and even if he didn’t change it for one person he could have influenced another to follow their dreams and become successful. Fox has recently been diagnosed with Parkinsons disease, a debilitating disease that cripples the nervous system. He has suffered from it for years but kept it secret.
