History 101 Why do they hate us? While some politicians view Osama Bin Laden as a snake and “If you cut of the head of the snake the rest will wither.” Bagish views Osama as more of a hydra than a snake, in that cutting one head off another will grow in its place. And While killing Osama Bin Laden would be welcomed by the American people it would hardly be the end to out problems. That action would just inspire more religious fanatics. They also love markers; it would only had fuel to the fire. Why do they hate us? What is the reason for thousands of lost lives and millions of dollars in destruction? Bagish believes it can be broken down into 5 different reasons. Wealth, Power, viewed as the world police, our freedoms, and our Middle East policy.
Why should hate be put upon a country with wealth? Success is a short step to wealth and with that comes jealousy. In our economic development we have worked with a small frame growth, in that, we use the economy to work for us and rarely include other countries. If we showed other third world counties to develop an economic system, like we did to China, they would also enjoy the feeling of wealth. With that though would come completion to America? Our power is hated. Our power in the military, our power in the culture we have and our power in the economy we use. This is the main reason we are hated.
We are seen as a goliath that bosses around other countries, taking out governments we don’t like and putting others in. We did that to Iran, Saudi Arabia, Chilly and Panama. We pulled out of the Ke octo proto call because it was not in our economy frame. We are seen as a country that only thinks about our self’s and has no concern for other countries. Our freedom to talk, dress, act, and worship as we please is seen in some areas of the Middle East as a weakness. We are “ungodly” and our women are viewed as sluts.
The Essay on Does The Search For Cheaper Labor In Other Countries Hurt The Us Economy
Does the Search for Cheaper Labor in Other Countries Hurt the U.S. Economy. After the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, the removal of the iron curtain in Europe and the fall of communism in most European countries, the trade and economy certainly entered the global expansion stage. The information, technologies, and capital can currently freely flow least efficient and profitable place to the ...
We are considered a great Satan of the world. Our fore fathers died to make this country free of religious percussion and fought on the idea of freedom. These deaths and ideals are falling on deaf ears in parts of the Middle East. Our Middle East policy is viewed as one sided. We view the Palestine as the enemy of America. We have sided with Israel in every issue.
I have always viewed the Jews in Israel as the apprised and weak. I thought that the reason we sided with them was because they where being taking advantage of and they where the downtrodden. My views and the views of many Americans differ greatly with the views of much of the Palestine. Israel is considered a gangster state. Controlling and invading areas of Pakistan with settlements, and with each settlement and military instillation.
Israel is the recipient of us money and military protection. Bagish told of religious fanatics that would march down the streets in Pakistan with whips of metal and knifes and the ends of the whips. Chanting they would whip there backs in name of there god and in hatred for the US. These people are dedicated, they are focused, and they are ready to die for there cause. If America where to stop funding and military support to Israel, change there economic standing, stop policing the world, and help build economic systems in third world countries would there be any more terrorism? The focus of the religious fanatics in the Middle East might be to strong, and even America changing that much might not be enough.
How can we stop it? It does not seem that we have any idea where Osama Bin Laden is. Even if we knew and where able to kill him there is no telling who would take his place. This war that we are in is going to be long and hard and it is a war that might need to be fought from 2 sides. One side to track down and put Osama bin laden on trial and another to look into what we have done to make hate for us grow so strong and what we can do about it.
