Introduction and Methodology mobile phone is more and more welcomed in modern society nowadays. Most of the people in England have got their own mobile phone, especially students. It becomes an efficient and convenient way to communicate with somebody else, like parents, friends! – etc. To acquaint the consumption of mobile phone tendency, an survey was executed on 27 th June 2003. The intention of the survey is to discover the situation of the students in UH about the reason of buying mobile phone, the factor of making up your mind to buy the mobile phone, the main aim of using mobile phone and the fee of mobile phone. This survey was given to twenty students in LRC of UH with questionnaire.
There were twenty questions in the questionnaire and the students who answered the questionnaire came form different countries, fourteen males and six females separately. The Main Findings 1. Essential of choosing mobile phone All of the twenty students had got at least one mobile phone, even seven students had got two mobile phones. About two important issues of choosing mobile phone, twelve students selected free time as the most important condition, around 60%. Price was the second consideration of choosing mobile phone, chosen by nine students about 45%. Servicing, quality or function was the third choice, chosen by 6, 5 and 4 students, about 30%, 25% and 20% separately.

Moreover, we have got four students chose! ^e 0-14 or more than! ^e 60, it was 10% separately. Namely, ten students chose 600 minutes peak time as their service.
It was about 50%; the next choice was 200 minutes any time. There were four students chose this item, by 20%. There were three students of 15% prefer 400 minutes any network. Two students chose 200 minutes any network and one student chose 500 minutes any network every month. Nobody chose 1000 minutes any network / any time.
It is too expensive and useless for students, I suppose. About insurance, fourteen students chose 0-3 month! insurance, it was 70%. Two students chose 3-12 months as their insurance limit.
