Many aspects of a child’s life determine the way in which one acts, matures and views life. I have found that one of the most influential elements of my life would be my mother, Svetlana Mazhukhina. She has been there for me when I needed her the most, she taught me to read between the lines in every situation because there is usually more to a situation to what it seems. She helped me to realize that I would like to end up like her, courageous, motivated and wise.
Through out my short life my mother would be at my bedside every night telling me that there is more to life than just living. She was the one to keep me strong throughout everything. If she ever saw that I was not coping she would take time out of work, time out of raising five teenagers and a baby to talk to me. She was the only person who made me feel like I was alive.
It was nice to be put first once in a while. When I look at the lyrics to the poem ‘The Wind Beneath My Wings’, the words become more and more relevant. It states that ‘you were content to let me shine, you always walked a step behind’. For quite a large portion of my life this was true. However, even though she was walking a step behind, it was as though she knew I was going to stumble and fall so she was there all along ready to catch me. Then it states ‘I was the one with all the glory, while you were the one with all the strength’.
Only after the past few years have I seen Joanne’s strength shine. It has been evident through her courage and persistence. The main theme of the poem ‘I can fly higher than an eagle, coz you are the wind beneath my wings’, has been the main aspect of Joanne’s and my relationship. I can now be on the top of the world because she has taught me to be happy with myself. The poem ‘I Said a Mother’s Prayer For You’ by John Robbins, is the way in which I show my appreciation to Joanne for everything that she has done for me. ‘I SAID A MOTHER’S DAY PRAYER FOR YOU’ I said a Mother’s Day prayer for you To thank the Lord above For blessing me with a lifetime Of your tenderhearted love.
The Essay on Allen Ginsberg Life Mother Wrote
The often explicit and always vivid writings of Allen Ginsberg seemed to stem from his own life. Allen's childhood in the city, political issues of the times, and the trials of understanding the vast psychology of human beings often emerged. His mother, Naomi Ginsberg, frequently tended to appear as topic or subject matter in Allen's work as well. His writing would describe her life, her beliefs, ...
I thanked God for the caring You ” ve shown me through the years, For the closeness we ” ve enjoyed In time of laughter and of tears. And so, I thank you from the heart For all you ” ve done for me And I bless the Lord for giving me The best mother there could be! I feel as though I cannot break this poem down as every sentence incorporated within it is exactly how I feel for Joanne. She was been the mother that I always wanted and I know that she will continue to fulfil this role. I am now a more courageous, dominant, out going person because of her. Some problems and worries may never go away, but I now know how to control them.
I now know that because of her, I will be able to make it on my own.
