My Future plans
There is a proverb that a person without an aim is like a ship without a rudder. So, everybody should have an aim or future plans in life. Aim of life varies from person to person. It depends upon man’s taste and liking. Some want to be doctors, some want to be engineers and some others want to be officers. Like others I also have a future plan in life. And my future plan in life is to be a teacher.
The first reason in favor of my choice is the belief that a teacher is full of high thoughts and ideals. The second reason in favor of my choice is the belief that there is no end of knowledge and this hunger for knowledge haunts me madly. The third reason in favour of my choice is the belief that it is mother of all professions. In fact, I carefully thought over the matter and lastly chose my future as a teacher.
My future plans may astonish my parents, friends and relatives. But I strongly believe a good teacher is an asset to the country. He moulds the young minds of the students. He inculcates in them the sense of patriotism, religion, values, morality, social service etc. Only a good teacher can build up good citizens. And good citizens are the prerequisite for overall development of a country.
Sometimes I feel sorry seeing the economic condition of the teachers in our country. Though they are called the architects of the nation, they are not paid well or given due honour in our country. In spite of some negative aspects, I think my aim in life is a noble one. Now it’s fulfillment depends completely on my preparation. If I can prepare myself well, I am sure that I will shine in life with this profession.
