This is one of my memorable trip, that was the unforgettable and so especial for me to be remembered in my lifetime, because that was the my first time to have trip to a beautiful small island in my country Timor Leste, which is called Atauro island . There are two quite reasonable reasons which make me to remember this trip always until now. First of all, it is an island, so when I went there by ship therefore easy to take a look on what a beautiful landscape of the island on board from the ocean’s view. Because that was my first time to have a trip by ocean, so I could felt how happy I was to be on the board at that time, and it took 3 hours to get there, after disembarked I spent several hours on the beach to take picture with some of my friends before took a rest in what a simple cottage, because we still had some more interesting places to be visited, such as Manucoco mount, Macadade spring water and Berau beach. In addition, when I was still young, I had been told by my parents that Atauro was the place for the Indonesian military to exile those who were not in favor with their government when they invaded our country in 1975, so for me, that is a very historical island to be visited. For instance, in this trip i went visit a cemetery, which was used to bury the exiled people who dead because of starvation during the occupation time.
