When it comes to our faith, or our personal relationship with God left hanging or being threatened, we need to take action.
As future leaders, we will have a fellowship to run, ministry to nuture, or basically why we all here for, we will run and manage a family, we need to defend the outside force trying to spoil the standard already being set forth to be followed. We will always defend things we love. * Ice breaker- Fire truck putting out the fire and their reward. – from the early church years, this was a major threat to Christian faith. When ‘outside force’ of beliefs; doctrines; teachings etc was a big threat to the truth they knew. within families; within organization; within youth fellowship, or even within self etc there will always be something that will be against us. *** A few points I want to share with us within this few minutes/ hours, in general regards to the defence of our faith. 1. Our Personal Standing beforei. Conclusion: Over the years that has gone passed, I believe we individually have come across an instance where our faith was being challenged. Probably mine was not as how much yours was challenged. Yet one thing I have placed in my heart and that I shall never depart from is the truth that saved me. The Love of God and His Mercy. Jesus Christ and the power of His Grace. Salvation is by faith alone. It shall be our prayer that, as brothers and sisters in Christ, we stand in defense of what we believe in. e were once out and about, in search of the truth, now that we are saved in the family of God, lets defend it with all our heart. If you haven’t made any decision or haven’t received Christ into your hearts. Let me pose this question and hope to encourage you with this words. If you were going to die tonight, where do you think you will go, and are you sure? Brothers and sisters, you have older, mature brothers and sisters amongst you every Fridays whom you can go and ask questions to. Let them lead you to the saving arms of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. While you still breathing, make the right choice.
