– Nicknamed “prime mover”
-acknowledges Plato’s theory of form
uses 4th cause (final cause) for his theories
-What purpose or function the thing is meant to fulfill. Take, for example, a table. To understand the table fully you need to know: (1) its material, that it is made of wood; (2) the arrangement of that material, the type of table it is or its shape (this is the form of the table); (3) how it was built, the various thing that had to be done to manufacture the table; and (4) the function of the table
The Essay on What Is Art Form Painting Time
What is Art Art can be said, as an expression of one's self and the feeling from the world around them. This does not only count the traditional forms of art, painting, music, sculpting, and drama. From my point of view along with the definition listed above, I believe that it is truly an expression of one's self, if it be a skater perfecting his or her skills or a business man painting a ...

-protrays soul as a living creature
-change occurs when matter changes
-concept of gods existence
-many ideas/proof of god existence
-Cosmological argument: god is first cause (Aristotle)
-Ontological argument: God is perfect
-universals exist only where they are instantiated
-saying that philosophy is “the science of the universal essence of that which is actual”
Universal: Particular things have in common, e.g characteristics or qualities
Some examples: 2 red pencils share the same qualities of being a pencil and the redness color. Topic relates to metaphysics, studied using logic and ethic.
Aristotle theory of universal:
Once called Forms by plato and essences by Aristotle.
Aristotle defines “substance as ultimate reality, in that substance does not belong to any other category of being, and in that substance is the category of being on which every other category of being is based” 1 States that substance as formal and material reality with the relationship between actuality and potentiality. Universals exist in own instances, never apart from things. Something cannot be something else, but questions arise. Do Universals exist? Is there such knowledge as particular things that have common qualities? Can we say that properties “exist” Theory has said that Plato suggested that the perfect shape is within the mind, not the real world. The logics of universals is defeated in the eyes of Plato, who saw universals as an ideal form. His ethical realism prevented the Platonic forms from relating with Aristotle’s universals.
Thesis: With Quality reasoning and the natural minds of humans in decision makings, we can prove their opinions about universals.
