Both parents and teachers have a huge significant part in students’ life that can build tough-positive relationship between teachers and their students. First of all, as parents, especially mothers, do raise their kids first before sending them to schools, in the same time, parents are preparing them before school. In other words, house prepares kids for school, and school prepares kids for outside world. As a result, any issue that concerns students in schools especially that involves teachers, would be healthier if discussing it with students’ parents first.
In “Teachers or Parents: Who’s More Important? ”, the author is claiming, “As the child gets older the parent continues to dominate as the most important element in a child’s attitude and thus learning. Especially since most children spend less than ten percent of a calendar year in school” (Haskvitz ).
Likewise, teachers also have an important impact that can play positively in order to keep the line connecting students to teachers strong and comfortable in the same time. So, teacher’s job is not a regular job, but it is a very weighty job for being producing “children” (Keizer 631).
In addition, by creating a respectful and comfortable environment, easily, teachers would gain their students’ love and trust. Therefore, I strongly believe both families and instructors are the most underlined factors that control students’ relationships with their instructors. There were some negative incidences had occurred that did reflect teachers and parents being weak factors that let students hating teachers. A teacher also can harmfully play his/her role on students’ feelings as much as positively.

In “Why We Hate Teachers”, the author is remembering negative memories about his teacher “I remember her punishing a boy who’d meandered into the girls’ bathroom by forcing him to wear a cardboard sign that read I AM A GIRL TODAY” (Keizer 626)! So, the penalty would discipline and warn him and others to “watch out” next time! Likewise, in my personal experience, one day my high junior’ Mathematics teacher, whose car had just damaged by a terrorists’ attack, lost his mind and had beaten me in front of the class because I had thrown him an empty bottle of water, I was stupid also the bottle was empty!
Even though I regretted it after that, I hated the subject because of him. In the same way, parents can act badly as teachers do that would let their kids dislike teachers. In the same article, Keizer was remembering that he had not any awful reminiscences of his teacher being bad, though he did heard from his parents that his teachers was “stern” (626).
Keizer used to be sick in mornings before going to school; however, he did not know what was bothering him even though he was a good student.
Therefore, there were several harmful actions involved both teachers and parents that happened in students’ life that poorly affected students’ relationships with their teachers. However, house and school underlying in parents and teachers should create a helpful environment for students in order to promote and strengthen the connection of teachers and their students. I truly believe both instructors and families can fix and handle any matter that concerns students by a peaceful and strict way without any kind of psychological or physical punishments because it would, most likely, force students out and away.
As what did Keizer’ teacher done to that student of letting him wearing a shirt that says “I’m a girl today”, I consider it uncalled for, and it was “worser” than the first action itself! Rather, it should be settled by so many things starting by taking off grades and requesting his parents. The same way, what happened to me was unfair because if I did not respect him, he should not do the same for being a respectful teacher, adult, and a role model to us.
Parents For Public Schools
Parents for Public Schools Today, the push for more accountability of student performance changed how assessment will be measured and judged in public schools. Not only will students be assessed through test scores, but also through attendance, school work, and observations. Parents hold the schools responsible for the advancement of their students' knowledge. Different tests are given to measure ...
As there is a gap between “understanding” and “should”, I understood that he was stressed especially it was occurred on the day after terrorists’ attack hit his neighborhood, but he should not do it. Therefore, most of the time instructors would disrespect their students when getting stressed, sad or angry (Beaudoin, Marie-Nathalie).
Similarly, I believe Keizer’s parents were an important reason who had let Keizer hate school. Most of the time parents talk about things that their kids should not hear.
As his parents were encouraging him for school, one word would help letting Keizer to hate his teacher and school. Probably and most likely, it was one reason behind him being sick every school day. Thus, parents should play smartly exactly as Keizer’ mother when once she told him they were going to his aunt Em’s rather than school, and he was magically cured. Therefore, teachers and parents should not be driven by their emotions; rather, they should build a comfortable atmosphere for students.
