Firstly, in the 1.5 mile run test you can see that the boys results are better than the girls results. This is because men are naturally faster than women and also men have more muscle than women. As a result their endurance levels are higher which means they can continue for longer.

From the table above you can see that all of the boys manage to complete the run in a good time where as only one girl got a good time in the test and two girls got a fair result and the other one got a very poor time. The reason that there is a big difference between the girls results are the different activity levels that each one does. For example, Charlotte does the most exercise out of all the girls which is why she got the highest as her muscular endurance is better than the other girls as she has built up her endurance levels when taking part in her normal activities. Amy does the least exercise which is why she got the lowest result as her muscles do not have a good endurance.
However, some of the results from the 1.5 mile test may not be some of the participants best results as a couple of them had injuries which means this would of affected their time.
On the sit and reach test you can see that the girls got better results than the boys. For example, Charlotte had the best results overall as she achieved 17cm but the boys best result was Liam who achieved -4cm. This is because girls are naturally more flexible than boys which you can see in the table below. Also the girls that do more exercise had the better results as they were good or average. For example Charlotte and I do more exercise in a week and their results were good. Where as Carrie and Beth do a moderate level of exercise in a week and their results are average and Amy does minimal exercise in a week and her results were fair. The reason for this is the more exercise you do the more your muscles are use to being stretched and sometimes can be stretched further than normal.
The Essay on Characteristics of Good Test Questions
Here is the list of characteristics that you should follow when either writing or selecting interpretive exercise questions for use in Stage 2 of any curriculum planning. Examples of these characteristics and why they are important will be discussed in class. Interpretive exercise questions consist of a series of selective response items based on a common set of introductory material. The ...

In the boys results Ollie and Josh both achieved a poor result and Liam and Aidan achieved a average result However, some of the boys results are low because of injuries as Ollie and josh have injuries. Ollie has an ankle which means it may prevent him from reaching further forward and josh has a knee injury which means he is unable to reach far with his knees flat. Also all the boys accept Ollie played a football match on the previous night which may of affected the results as they may of had tight hamstrings which would prevent them from reaching further.
The results from the sit-up test does not follow a pattern as some girls did better than the boys and some boys did better than the girls. For example, charlotte achieved the highest result, of 33, out of everyone and Ollie achieved the highest result, 29, out of the boys. However, Aidan and Josh did not achieve 20 or over and neither did Carrie, Amy and Beth manage to achieve 20. The pattern is that the people who play sports have the best results as Ollie, Liam, Charlotte and I all play sports and they have the best results that are also quite close together.
The Term Paper on War Against Boys
In 1990, Carol Gilligan announced to the world that America's adolescent girls were in crisis. In her words, "As the river of a girl's life flows into the sea of Western culture, she is in danger of drowning or disappearing." Gilligan offered little in the way of conventional evidence to support this alarming finding. Indeed, it is hard to imagine what sort of empirical research could establish so ...

However, as you can see form the table above even though Ollie and Liam achieved the highest out of the boys in our class their results are still classed as poor. Where as Charlotte’s results are classed as above average and my results are classed as below average so even though they are high results in the class according to the table above they are still not very good. However, this test was done straight after the 1.5 mile run which means that there was instant fatigue in the participants as their muscles already had worked at either a high or moderate intensity.
The results from the step test vary. When the heart rate was taken 1 minute after the test josh had the lowest result of 74. This is shows the best aerobic level when participating in aerobic exercise.
