“Hello. Speaking. Uh, excuse me but please call me later. Yes. Bye!” I’m sorry for stopping my speech. Since I’ve got this mobile phone, I have been very busy.
Do you own one yourselves? Whether you own it or not, be careful about it, because mobile phones are a new type of “weapon.” They are also a new type of “pets”! Have you heard of that? No? OK. Listen to this! The first key word of my speech is, “weapon.” You may not have recognized that mobile phones are a kind of weapon, but they attack us anytime and anywhere! They attack us in two ways; physically and mentally. First of all, mobile phones attack us physically by electromagnetic wave. Professor Hil and at Wor ic University said electromagnetic wave weakens our memory, concentration, and health conditions.
Secondly, they attack us mentally by “eating” our time like “pets.” Yes, the next key word of my speech is, “pets.” Mobile phones are a kind of pet, a very selfish pet. You have to take care of them whenever they cry. You cannot concentrate on your job or study because of them. This problem is more remarkable among young people. The only time they stop pushing the button is when they are taking the subway, where luckily they cannot use their phone.
Mobile phones must be the evilest thing we have ever met. But, wait! . Is it really true? Mobile phones must have some merits. If not, we cannot explain why more than 66% of Japanese people own one. Now I’d like to make certain of my stance toward mobile phones.
The Term Paper on Koreas Development Of Mobile Phone Industry part 1
Koreas Development of Mobile Phone Industry Proposal letter for the research concerning the topic of mobile telephone development in Korea. A. objective: The purpose of this research is to show how successful is the mobile phone industry in Korea. Also, to show what is on the horizon for the countrys mobile phone industry. What sparked his success and what hardships were endured to this point? ...
I am a member of those 66%. Yes, I support having one. I even hope all people would get mobile phones. Not “most” but “all” except babies.
If all people had mobile phones, it would be very easy to find where people are. For example, when senile people or innocent children go missing, the guardians can make sure where they are by using satellite-based positioning system. Or, it must be fresh in your memory that some people tried to be helped under the rubble of World Trade Center. Not only that, there are many great examples of the advantages of mobile phone. Sometimes the log of mobile phones become the evidence of the crime.
In the event of emergencies, we can make contact with our family thanks to our mobile phone. In this way, mobile phones are a very good, and convenient, the crown of science and technology! How wonderful it is! The most serious problem is that we DON’T notice not only the danger but also the merits! We only know the merits superficially, because there are no education about mobile phones though primary school children have it. Some parents allow their children to own them without education, and others don’t allow them to own them without consideration. They don’t know about mobile phones except how to make a phone call or how to send e-mail. To improve this situation, the Japanese Government should introduce mobile phone education into primary school moral classes, and teach children both their merits and demerits. It will improve children’s moral consciousness and children can take moral responsibility when using mobile phone.
Now let’s consider the advantage and the disadvantage as I told you before and weigh the positive against the negative. If you still wonder whether you should have a mobile phone or not, I’d like to add one more idea that will release you from the anxiety about electromagnetic wave. According to the American congressional investigators, the strength of the electromagnetic wave from mobile phones is too weak to affect us in short period use though the strong wave may cause health problems. So don’t hesitate to have and use them! If you have time to hesitate, you should buy it just in case. Oh, there is still one more big problem. That is “financial” problem.
The Essay on Children and Screen Time
Every parent wants nothing more then their child to succeed. They want their child to develop and learn with out struggle. In this day in age we have access to so many devices that can help contribute to a child’s success. Many will argue that a device such as a I-pad or mobile device will hinder ones learning. I feel the exact opposite will occur, and the child will gain knowledge. Children ...
The cost to maintain one is still high! As for this point, I have one suggestion. The Japanese government should lower the cost by supporting mobile phone companies. It is a solid investment to contribute to the work of police. If the price is reduced, all nations could own mobile phones, and lead a safe life! Some say that the world would be a better place now if the automobile had never been invented. Imagine that you have to go to your office, which is five kilometres away by walk. And you got up late from bed and your boss yells at you if you are late by a few minutes.
Then what do you do? I hope there will not be any unfortunate person than this in the world. So, I personally feel and believe that we are very fortunate to have automobiles invented and prepared for us. So, I do not support the statement that the world would be a better place without automobiles. To be honest, I personally feel that automobiles are a boon in today’s world. In this age of rapid technological advancements, we must run along with time.
Otherwise time will leave us behind and will proceed at its own pace. So, in order to cope up with time we must also be faster and that is possible only with the help of automobiles. If there are no automobiles practically I feel it is not possible to achieve this. Automobiles today have replaced the old buffalo carts of the past, which are used for transportation of goods as well as human beings. To reach a destination, which is at reasonable distance takes around 2 to 3 days, which I am sure no child of today can do because they are used to this fast world. As a matter of fact we also cannot do that now.
I also feel that we will have control over time and manage it to the best possible extent. Some of the industries or places of work will be located at a distance, which is far from the city because of problems like pollution. Suppose you are working in that and your child who is a tiny tot still has to go to a good school to get good education which is in the city, how do you manage this without a vehicle? You cannot forsake anything because both are important for you. But, this is absolutely possible with a vehicle. You can live in the city and drop your child at the school as well as go to office on time.

So, according to me, technological advancements will be hindered, if not hampered, if there are no automobiles. There are a lot more advantages of this and it far surpasses the minor disadvantages it may pose like air pollution or noise pollution. So, I feel that there cannot be any growth if automobiles were never invented. Billions of people all over the world use mobile phones in a wide range of setting such as at work, at home, outdoor uses, for convenience and security. Mobile phones have fundamentally become a part of our life now.
The definition of mobile phones is that they are ‘low power devices that emit and receive radio waves. The radio waves connect each phone to a network of center stations, so that users can make and receive calls’. All mobile phones and base stations give out radiation.
