Everyone wants appliances such as toasters, microwaves and fridges to be cheap even though they are rich, but what about the poor people or so called middle class. What will they do if the prices are too high to afford? Petroleum is something that we all need to go from place to place, anyways most of us do; four to five years ago, when I first came to Canada, the gas prices were quite low, but in the past 2-3 years, it is still increasing up to date. Prices of toasters and petroleum etc shouldnt increase because we are getting our taxes cut and on top of that our level of price for the gas has increased, which makes our lives hard and tedious. Gases, Petrol are essential tools for the 21st century. It is something that all the people need to go from places to places because using buses gets expensive in the long run. This crisis began only because the Middle East began to charge more for their barrel.
This happened because they realized that they are giving their petrol for less, when they could be making much more selling the same quantity, which is fair. They can charge whatever they want because it is their own Gasoline and they can do whatever they want with it. Canada has Alberta to help them a lot with the losses of Petroleum and charges of it because it has its own oilrig, from where oil is produced, and can help them by giving the oil locally so that the gas prices will not be that high. The government for some unknown reason to the public are trying to take our taxes and plus our gas money, which is about $100.00 a month for an average Canadian family. Canadian Families shouldnt go through with this because this is a fixable problem and can be done so by making the tax, which is 15% to around a mere 7-6%. That would help all of us a lot wouldnt you think so? One of the main causes for this crisis is that Canada still thinks that it will perish without international support and that it wants to give money out to people rather than getting it from the country itself.
The Term Paper on Canadas Unemployment Rate Canada Social Taxes
Canada's Unemployment Rate For decades prior to the 1981-82 recession, the national unemployment rates of Canada and the United States had been nearly identical. Since then, a persistent 'unemployment rate gap' has emerged. Throughout most of the 1980 s, Canada's unemployment rate has consistently been about 2 percentage points higher than in the United States. The gap developed in spite of very ...
All of this would not have happened if there were not much of the world knowing about this. Why you may ask? Its for you to answer.. At last but not least this is one of the problems that are fixed like making a crying baby stop by giving him candy. It is something that makes lives hard for people because either they do not have a good job or they are uneducated and do not even have a job, which makes it hard for them to pay the money for all the gases and taxes. PETROLEUM CRISIS is an issue that will be a problem for another decade or more because of the progression rate that they are making with can be compared to a snail. All the other countries are doing just fine without help from other countries, and even if they are taking help from other countries, they are able to take sufficient amount from their trade so that the locality wouldnt have any burden on them.
All this is just politics and Canada thinking its still a baby and it needs someone to help him cross the signal. Why doesnt the government ask rationally like adults and make the prices go low or take more amount of Gas from other countries or finally make the taxes low so that the high gas prices wouldnt affect us. Look at the United States, which does not have so much of a big rate. Why?.
