Philosophy of Religion There are two very simple and easy facts. One of them is felt by reverence and the other by experience. The fact which is felt by reverence is that god always pervades everywhere without any change. Several ages pass away, several Brahmas (creators of god) change, but the supreme essence remains the same. The fact which is felt by experience is that the whole world is kaleidoscopic; it is changing every moment and is turning to naught. Thus there are two facts: 1) God who is ever attained is steady and there is no change in him.
He pervades at all the times, in all places and things and creatures. He is already attained to all. He exists whether you turn your eyes or not, whether you accept his existence or not, whether you know him or not. The great religious philosopher Vivekananda says- what is real is eternal. You will have to believe that the essence is attained and then he will be seen and experienced. This is something of the belief. 2) The fact which is felt by experience is that the world is kaleidoscopic, transient and illusive. It seems to exist but is actually flowing.
A man may think that a particular person has got money, praise, respect. But actually he has got nothing that is merely an illusion. What he thinks to attain is actually flowing, but not attained. If he had attained what was to be attained, there would not have been desire to attain any more. This is the criterion. So long as there is desire to acquire, it means that he has not acquired the real thing.
The Essay on One Experience, Changes The View Of Myself
As I put my last glittery heel on and look at myself in the mirror making sure all the pieces look great together. My reflection staring at me, like how a baby stares at her mother or father watching them act in their everyday lives. As I come closer to the baile (dance) I could hear back ground music bursting through the speakers, I get jitters and become excited. I walk in with my head held high ...
In the great religious scripture Srimad Bhagvat Gita, Lord Krisna says to Arjuna about the existence of supreme power god as, any one after acquiring that attainment cant consider any other attainment as greater.(6.22) Suffering is a misleading word according to Bible. The reason is that suffering could be due to various reasons. Bible has a lot to say about suffering. “We must also share in his suffering, if we are to share in his glory.” (Romans 8:17) Suffering may be “the chastisement of god. God chastens his children is taught in both testaments. In the Old Testament: “Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, [so] the Lord thy God chasteneth thee.”(Deu 8:5) If it is only because god loves us, He sees that we are heading in a direction which if left unchecked would result in the damnation of our souls.
God won’t stop us from sinning, but through His providential workings in the affairs of this world He might try to get us to reflect upon what we are doing. Consider how God tried to correct the erring nation of Israel. These were not miraculous or supernatural events but acts of nature brought on by the providential working of God. If God would use His Providence in an attempt to get the nation of Israel to repent before it was too late, would not the same loving God use His providential workings to chastise His erring children today? All these are purposeful to Wake us up, to Cause us to reflect on our lives and our relationship to God and to encourage us to repent and turn back to Him if we are straying. As it has been rightly depicted in bible- “Take courage, I’ve deprived it of its power to harm and conquer you.”) John 16:33: “Do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you. But to the degree that you share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing.” And verse 19 says: “Let those who suffer … entrust their souls to a faithful Creator.
. .” Peter 4:12: The Bible says that the books of the world would not be enough to record the miracles of Jesus Christ which He performed during glorious ministry on the earth. In Luke 5:1-10, Jesus Christ was preaching to the crowd sitting in the boat of Simon Peter. Peter and few of the fishermen were washing their nets disappointed at having caught nothing. Jesus Christ saw their anguish and said, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch” (Luke 5:4).
The Essay on Jesus Christ Bible Faith Word
In America there are more religious groups especially from foreign countries than I had suspected. There are more Islamic members than those of Judaism and more Buddhists than Seventh Day Adventist. All religions acknowledge that God is forever and exist everywhere at all times. Oftentimes a local congregation will have the same belief in one City, town, or country as they hand down their manner ...
When Peter obeyed His word and did as He had said, he caught a great number of fish that the nets were at the point of breaking! Simon Peter was awestruck by the miracle! When Jesus Christ lived in this world, He performed His first miracle at a wedding feast in Cana.
When there was a shortage of the wine, He turned the water into wine and manifested His glory (John 2:11).
The Bible says that Jesus Christ came into this world to give you life and set you free from the thief who would come to steal and destroy (John 10:10).
The good news is that Jesus Christ is alive and death has no power over Him. He presented Himself alive to the Apostles and spoke to them things pertaining to the Kingdom of God (Acts 1:3).
The Risen Lord Who performed miracles through the Apostles to show that He was alive will also do miracles when todays god believing people are in distress. A similar incidence was quoted by a priest. A follower of God celebrated his daughters wedding in a grand manner.
I attended the wedding with my family. Later, he shared with me the miracle that the Lord did at the wedding. The Servant of God said that he had invited around 1,000 guests for the wedding and expected around 1,500 guests to turn up for the wedding. The wedding feast was prepared for 1,500. But around 2,000 had turned up. After felicitating the couple, the guests took part in the wedding feast. He was quiet puzzled of how to tackle the situation.
But to his amazement, all of them were able to enjoy the wedding feast. The Lord did a miracle in his daughters wedding and did not put him to embarrassment by shortage of the food in the feast. The Essay on Spiritual World Satan God Bible
Mankind lives in a physical, tangible, material world, which is influenced by the invisible, spiritual world around us. The present day spiritual world is just as existent as it was nearly two thousand years ago when Lord Jesus walked the earth. The Old and New Testaments reveal to us from time to time, glimpses of this spiritual world. These Testaments provide us with the most factual information ...
