Everyone in the Army has heard the phrase, “right place, right time, right uniform”. To be successful in the United States Army that is truly the key. Following these simple guidelines can help save a battle buddy’s life, complete a mission in the most safe and productive way possible, which is really what the Army’s main goal is. These standards have been the true success of every inch of the army, ranging all the way from individually to the Army itself. It is all about accountability. You have to keep track of your Soldiers. It is my responsibility and my leader’s responsibility. They are responsible for my actions as well you. C. 86, makes it a crime to fail to go to one’s appointed place of duty at the time prescribed, to leave one’s place of duty, or to be absent from one’s unit without authority.
Depending on the severity of the situation and how many times the failure of the accountability occurred, punishment can range from negative counselings to even being discharged. Whether it be an appointment, a formation, or pulling fire watch while your battle buddies are sleeping while being down range, accountibilty for each of these situations is so very severe. For example, say that private Joe Diffy has made it a habit of not making it to his appointments and or even being late to his routine formations.
... obligations. When a soldier doesn’t arrive at the right place, time, and or uniform, it takes away from the team’s ... as selfish and a buddy fucker. The army does a lot time to take care of personal problems, responsibilities, ... to being the best soldier of the United States Army. Nevertheless, a NCO is still a soldier. A soldier ... to himself, his leadership, unit and ultimately the army.
While garrison, he believed that it’s not a big deal and doesn’t understand why its such a big fuss and why his chain of command rides him to hard about it. It’s just an appointment right? Wrong. By being late for his appointments and formations not only has she shown immaturity and incompetence he is showing his chain of command that he can not be trusted with simple task. Private Joe Diffy will always be second guessed and not believed in to assist in completion of the mission.
