Political science In America there are some of the things that have made it unique in the history of the world. One of them is the Bill of Rights. The Bill is considered to be the noblest document ever written. It defines the limits that government should obey. Several concepts, such as of free speech, absolute privacy, and religious freedom, became a face of America, its tradition. The Bill may be regarded as an implementation of the ideas, pointed in the Declaration of Independence.
Even being the essential nature of the American system of government and society, it may be of more practical value to the American system of government. The Bill of Rights was ratified in 1791. When the first Constitution was written, it was supposed that amendments to it would be able to be changed sometimes. It was not easy to make amendments, and change the Constitution. From 9.000 amendments only 27 have been adopted. But the Constitution would not be approved until it included a bill of rights.
It listed the individual rights of every citizen. 12 amendments were written by James Madison, and only 10 were approved. They make up the Bill of Rights and at the same time are the first amendments of the Constitution. The rights have evolve and changed over the past 200 years. We often use the word right, speaking about civil liberties and citizenship. It is a statement about what should be.
It has come form Constitution that sets out our basic rights and freedoms. As usual in democratic society, rights are based on majority role. The wishes of the majority become our laws. But from time to time the majority ignores the rights and freedoms of individuals. Particularly, it concerns people from minority groups. So, despite constitutional guarantee, groups such as Blacks and women have had to struggle over 200 years to claim their constitutional rights outlined in the Bill of Rights. During the period of the I World War, it was noticed the rise of legal understanding of civil liberties and rights. In early 20th century political obligations played an important role in practices of citizenship in American political life.

Science the events of the 11 of September a lot of talks have been made around the amendment 4, which guarantees the right to refuse admission to government officials to enter your home or office. After the tragedy Congress has passed anti terrorism bills, allowing to the government to do searches. Not only the rights of Muslims living in America, but the rights of native people were oppressed. A progressive society acclaimed not to forget that Americas bill of rights must always come first. Another example connected with the law that a person is considered innocent until proven guilty. In the first half of the 20th century Black Americans were not allowed to use the due process of the law. (By the way, in former Soviet countries such as Russia, Ukraine this law is quite different. A person is considered guilty until proven innocent.) For last years it was the worst time for American Muslims.
They seemed to be guilty until they prove themselves innocent. It is proved that there is interdependence between a countrys laws, traditions politics and its history. Everything changes. The Bill of Rights has not changed much. But it has involved over time as the country has changed. It has involved the abolition of slavery, the establishment of the universal right to vote and the removal of barriers to economic and educational equality.
As it was proved the Bill had never been far from the center of controversy in American life. The topics, more then others having been discussed, are about the 1 and 2 amendments. The 2 amendment guarantees the right to keep and bear arms. The program was created on September 25, 1961 by President Kennedy. The document was entitled Freedom from War: The United States program for general and complete disarmament in a peaceful world. It was a time of warming between the East and the West.
The Term Paper on To what extent did the events of 1945-1946 turn war-time allies into Cold War enemies?
To what extent did the events of 1945-1946 turn war-time allies into Cold War enemies? During the Second World War, the United States and Russia had been allied in order to defeat Nazi Germany. However, following the end of the war and the victory over Germany, relations between America and the Soviet Union began to decline, culminating in the Cold War. Whilst the orthodox view of the Cold War, as ...
During a cold war, in which America played one of the main role, a great amount of weapons were stored. The document, adopted by the Government, was one of the most revolutionary proposals ever put forward by any government officials. Science gun control came into existence the right was constantly a field of hot disputes. Some people say that from the beginning the term gun control was used for domestic disarmament and international arms control for national one. So, there should be two processes, but soon they have been proceeding simultaneously. And many Americans treat those both parts as one. They said that the statement that guns cause crime has no sense.
It is only due to the popular notions and the Christian worldview. It seems to them as an oppression of the humans rights and freedoms. It is difficult to propose your own view of the problem. Because as the proverb says: A stick has two ends. It means that all good ideas have another side. I think if I had had a chance to change some laws, I would have started with this one.
I am sure that you will not need any other one any more. What for? Is it possible to think about freedom of press or civil rights if a person with a gun stands in front of you? I am for disarmament of people. It comes from a human nature to feel you a master of a situation. I am firmly certain that as Power changes a man as Guns do. Especially guns are dangerous in hands of a characterless person. a person with inferiority complex.
Such kind of people can really need a gun? What for? I am sure that each person has his path in life, his destiny. And Gods laws should be of great importance for a person. A gun very often will not be the way out, and will not save you. Sometimes a skill to keep yourself in hands and to over persuade a bandit helps you more. And there is another wise thought: There is a power for any power. It is proved that violence gives a birth to violence. Do you really feel yourself safety with a gun? I do not think so.

Because you should have some experience to shoot, to shoot a man! A mankind has a sad experience. In after war period a lot of people were shot because of accidents. Frankly speaking, I know the only laws which need not be revised. These are Gods laws. The others need be examined in accordance with up to date norms. I am certain that in 18th century the society was on the lower stage of its development. So, a gun was a necessary thing. It was a time of wars, a time of territory division.
A lot of men went to war. But for last decades a mankind became more progressive. It has thought to decide its problems by peace way. As to the second part of the low, international arm control, I think there is something to think at. I think that such a supper nation like the USA should have strong army and weapons. It is really balanced a situation in the world, it prevents from a global tyranny.
In this case I have to agree that Americans should be both spiritually and physically armed. But not for attack, for defense. The traditional American philosophy requires, as a fundamental of the system of checks and balances, which The Civil must always be in complete control of The Military. The Founders and their fellow Americans were painfully aware of the lesson of history that large standing armies are, in peacetime, potentially dangerous to the people’s liberties Another, related element in the system of checks and balances is the requirement of the Constitution (Article VI) that all Federal officials–both civil and military–take an oath to support the Constitution. As the result that all military officers, thus controlled fundamentally and supremely by the Constitution, must be obedient to the civil authority – chief of all the President – but only as to orders which are not violation of the Constitution. Learning history we provide the historical context essential for understanding the origins and evolution of the nation’s political institutions and today’s controversies.
Frankly speaking, I can hardly understand freedom of the press, from the 1 amendment. The term free press does not correspond to the real meaning . I think that the press always reflected circumstances. It always depended on them. and as usual it works closely with some ruling parties. The press main idea is to give a sensation, something that may worry or excite, or even shock.

Hispanic-Americans Civil Rights Movement America is facing the largest cultural shift in its history. Around the year 2050, whites will become a "minority." Our neighborhoods, our schools and workplaces, ...
Sometimes the author of the article does not agree with the idea. And even if he or she writes his her point of view, it often reflects the other counter side of the problem, but has said by somebody somewhere. To be a good journalist or TV reporter, one should always be in a center of hot events. They become accustomed to ideas, problems etc. And very often they cannot notice that transfer somebody elses thoughts. The other very important part of the coin is sponsors. Each means of mass media needs money for existence.
So, as usual, each canal belongs to some party or group, or a person. It reflexes their thoughts. I think that if I had been a governor I would have proposed to elaborate the amendment. May be, freedom to reflect different points of view in the press.
