Pollution One of the major problems of today is the problem of pollution on our planet. Humanity has invented various kinds of polluting the Earth such as air pollution, noise pollution, pollution in the ocean, rubbish, and landfill. Air pollution is caused by four major factors: heavy traffic, large cities, economic development, and industrialization. Besides polluting air our civilizations creates noise pollution unwanted, disturbing sounds that cause a irritation in the eye of the beholder. Our oceans are extremely polluted as well. There are numerous oil spills, large amounts of metals and slowly degrading chemicals, trash, including plastic, etc.
which all cause death to various kinds of ocean inhabitants. Landfills are around large cities and there seems to exist a huge problem of waste disposal management. It looks like people are killing their own planet and we urgently need to do something if we want to save the Earth for future generations. So, what can we do to save the Planet? First of all, the humanity should work on implementation of alternative energy. alternative energy refers to energy sources which are not based on the burning of fossil fuels or the splitting of atoms. Solar energy is believed to be one the most promising sources of energy in the future. It is presently being used mainly for homes, traffic light, etc.

In the future, solar energy could be used to run cars and power plants. The humanity could also use the power of wind and tides to generate electricity. Geothermal energy is another alternative energy source that is obtained from the internal heat of the planet and can be used to generate steam to run a steam turbine. Biofuel or agrofuel is mainly derived from biomass or bio waste. These fuels can be used for any purposes, but their main use for automobiles. Another way to make our planet cleaner and safer is to recycle and reuse the waste we produce. Various plastic packages, toys, building materials, etc. can and should be recycled.
Most developed countries require plastics recycling marking codes on covers of all products. It is believed, however, that reusing plastics is more preferable to recycling it as it saves energy and does not cause any pollution. The same goes for glass it is better to reuse glass product wherever possible. Recycling paper is extremely important as it can help save woods, therefore, preserve healthier environment and homes for many species. Paper recycling is the oldest kind of recycling and people usually collect paper for recycling very willingly. Electronic equipment can be recycled/recovered in four different ways: equipment dismantling; mechanical recycling; incineration and chemical recycling. Carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas that is responsible global warming. It has been proved that forests absorb carbon dioxide during their photosynthesis cycle. This is why increasing forests with reforestation and discouraging deforestation will help slowing down global warming.
Forest ecosystems move around 3 billion tons of anthropogenic carbon every year. They also are a terrestrial carbon sinks and store large amounts of carbon. Carbon Trading is a market based mechanism for helping mitigate the increase of CO2 in the atmosphere. Any business entities that reduce their carbon emission may be able to sell their reductions to other emitters. Also, businesses that manage forests or agricultural land might sell their carbon credits to those business that emit large amount of CO2 to the atmosphere. It has become obvious that our planet is not willing to keep up with our technical and industrial progress any more.
The Essay on Natural Gas Graphite Carbon Energy
Physical Properties of Graphite and Carbon Graphite Graphite is soft and black and the stable form of carbon. The usual form of graphite (hexagonal graphite) has hexagon sheets arranged in parallel layers. The carbon atoms are found at the corners of the regular and fused hexagons and has three neighbouring carbon atoms, so that the carbon forms a 2-dimensional hexagon net. The covalent bonding ...
It is everyones responsibility to help to preserve the Earth by causing less pollution, by recycling and reusing as many products as possible. Industries and producers should implement energy saving and usage of alternative energy sources. Finally, governments should reinforce such measures as reforestation and carbon trading initiatives.
