Remarkable Dramatization Affects the Overall Feel of the Film “Hamlet”
Blenheim Palace- Woodstock, England, Hamlet son of the King of Denmark is summoned home for his father’s funeral and his mother’s wedding to his uncle. In a supernatural episode he discovers that his uncle was actually the one who murdered his father. In an incredible convoluted plot, he manages to simulate madness, love then unlove an innocent woman whom he drives to madness, concoct a retched plan against his uncle, successfully conspire against the lives of two friends, and finally take revenge on the uncle, but only at the cost of almost every life, including his mother.
Kenneth Branagh and Kate Winslet’s ability to convey such an unfathomable understanding for the general feelings and emotions demonstrated throughout the entire duration of the film helps to engage the viewers to give their full attention. Not only that, the background music choice compliments the actor/actresses inner feelings, thoughts and motives when faced with tough decisions. Thirdly, Blenheim Palace in which the actors/actresses are primarily located adds depth to the store line, and creates a sense of stylistic decisions from the “two way glass” used by the King and Polonius.
Viewers of the original version of Hamlet loved the setting and the ability of the producer to capture all of the emotions depicted from each character, “The producer was innovated. The characters were all able to put forth an outstanding more, especially Hamlet himself”. Kenneth’s response to this fantastic viewer feedback was, “I am truly amazed by all this positive comments, maybe I should re-release the movie and give the public what they have been waiting for”. In doing so, Kenneth Branagh re-released his movie Hamlet which received great reviews.
